I’m prepping for a resort switch at the 7-month mark for a stay at the end of October (10/22/25-10/27/25) and starting tracking what my options were (hoping for a Poly Deluxe Studio) and 10/24/25 seems to be booked out for almost every studio out there (except SSR & OKW), even when the surrounding days are available.

Does anyone have any idea what might be happening that night that would cause that? MNSSHP dates haven’t been released yet, it’s Wine & Dine race weekend but other nights of the race weekend seem to have better availability; is there something I haven’t thought of?

Thanks!!

There is a medical conference at Grand Floridian on 10/24-10/27. Not sure if that would impact DVC though.

Also some cruisers come in just to spend Friday night and get on the ship the next day in Port Canaveral.

Was there a Moonlight Magic this year arojnd that time? Maybe some are hoping that happens again?

Good call, there was a MM event at Animal Kingdom on 10/24/24!

There are no MM events on the calendar past 9/1/25 but the fall MM events weren’t announced until later in the year….not sure I’ve ever seen a MM event scheduled for a Friday, so maybe that date will loosen up :-)

I was also needing a switch to poly for oct 22-26 and suddenly saw the same one night sold out and wondered the same thing. My daughter will be crushed when it spoils her poly plans. Any other time poly has been available when I’ve wanted a seven month switch, so frustrating.

October Is a HUGE month in ORL. Not just Disney.
Every weekend (really every week) has a dozen events pulling people into the city.

I don't recall any of the parties scheduled for a Saturday
None that I could find, looking at last year’s dates….Tuesdays, Thursdays (starting in late September) Fridays, Sundays and I think one Monday (Labor Day) were party days in 2024….no Wednesdays and no Saturdays at all
