My Valentine's Day present

A Gold E-Ticket

If you have an original book or e tickets, they're worth some money. But a golden ticket.....do you entry to the chocolate factory (cause I've gotta golden ticket..)?

Here is a ref. from Wikipedia

My MIL still has 2 whole books! One from DL (she is from Long Beach, CA) and 1974 WDW. I want to have them framed so they will last longer but she will not give them to me! My husband is an only child and she has to die someday! ;)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

 I could help with your cd's instead:hug:

Those things have been such a thorn in my side. Now we finally have them just about done and I noticed that Jesse burned 20 of the cd's in the wrong order. Now I have 20 of them that don't match the playlist! :scared1: Will this ever end?

f.o.!:rolleyes1 -I claim this on Nancy's behalf for missing out on the previous two:goodvibes

You're such a rebel Karen. ;)

robin and my mom always say that about underdog after his heart surgery.
(but i dont believe it)
i used to pick on tart girl all the time during recovery. i'd tell her
"i see dead people" it freaked her out.

Now I know why Robin always says you're going to hell. :goodvibes

i'm deeply offended by this comment.:rotfl2:

Since when? Nothing offends you! :snooty:

;) Love ya sweety!

Don't encourage her Shelley. She's nothing but bad news. :rotfl2:

We know all about you and your fake personality (ies). :rolleyes1

you're hubby is safe from me.:lmao:
i'd be afraid you'd start a whole new "report" about me and with your large following of readers, i may not come out of it very well.:scared: :scared:

The truth hurts doesn't it? :rotfl:

I've got 4 of the very first Hopper passes that were issued. When we finally used them up the CM at the gate said to hang onto them as they're worth some cashola too.

I suppose all the other Wisconsinites are out voting today in the primaries.

Vote and vote often people! :thumbsup2

Just in case BL gets interrupted tonight, would someone PM me to tell me the results please?

One month after his mom died Chuck was almost crushed against a dock by a truck that wasn't chocked correctly. The truck came rushing back and someone yelled out "look-out"! Without turning to "look", Chuck said he felt himself get pulled to the side.

The truck crashed against the dock and it was heavily damaged. One of the dock workers ran to see if Chuck was ok and Chuck thanked him for yelling out to him. The worker said he never yelled out a thing and that it appeared that Chuck was lifted off the ground and thrown to the side.

It's still a mystery to this day. :confused3

Glad to know someone was watching over him

Shortly after my mom passed away, my brother, his wife and three boys were hiking in Johnston Canyon and their littlest boy Jack (he was 3 then) stepped on a patch of ice and slid down the side of the canyon. They said that there was absolutely no reason he should have stopped, he should have slid all the way down the canyon and died, but for some reason, right in the middle of his slide, he just stopped and they were able to grab his arm and pull him back up.

I think it was my mom who stopped him

I used to joke with Rob when Kira was about 3 months old and we started to use the baby monitor, every other night we would hear these weird sounds from the monitor as if someone was in her room but when I checked, there was nothing there. I always said "Oh, there's Nanny visiting her granddaughter"

And then just after we moved into this house, she was playing in her playroom and was pushing on the gate and it popped open and I watched as she fell on top of the gate that was sliding down the stairs. I could do nothing but watch and I saw her slide all the way to the bottom where the cement tile was and she stopped just before she would have smashed her little head on the tile. No reason, she didn't hit anything to stop her fall, she just stopped. Sigh, thanks Mom :lovestruc

It was one of my scariest moments.

Yay!!! :yay: Congrats!!!!! :goodvibes

Mike & Robin, those pics were fantastic :thumbsup2 It looks like you all had a great time. I love the golden e-ticket, how awesome is that!!! ::yes:: I remember using those tickets, my 4 older siblings always stole the e-tickets and me, mom and dad got stuck with the ABC & D's :lmao:

Paige- I forgot to tell you your birthday fortune. A friend of mine gave me a fortune telling birthday book and everyone's has been right on the money! Let me know if this is you.

February 17

You are fortunate to be born in this month. You have exceptional opportunities in love, business, or a career and can rise to the top. You are most considerate to those dear to you. You love with vigor, and your home life should be ideal.

Not so sure about a career. I'm a stay at home mom. Those most dear to me would probably laugh at the statement of me being considerate. Yes, I do love with vigor--even more so with my kids. And my home life SHOULD be ideal, but where's the fun in that?:rotfl:

Here's my angel story.....

When Emily was 3 and our nephew was 2, they were playing on MIL's patio while Rob and his Dsis chatted just inside in the living room. They could see the kids playing and were ok with it. Well, of course the kids wandered outside of the patio (Rob and Jodi, his sister, didn't think the kids were able to open the screen door), and over to the pool. A few minutes later Emily came into the house and announced matter-of-factly, "Austin's in the pool." So needless to say, Rob and Jodi sprint out to the pool to find 2 yr old Austin floating on his back eyes wide open and very calm. Rob immediately jumped in to get him and took him to his mom, Jodi. Rob said in those couple of seconds that it took him to get to the pool, he could see the child but he thought he was face down--very scary. As he got closer he could tell that he was floating on his back. So where does the angel come in, right? Well, earlier that afternoon, they were all on the patio (Rob, Jodi and the kids--my Derek was in an infant seat) and Emily kept bugging Rob, asking, "Daddy, who's that man by the pool?" Rob would look out to the pool and no one was there. She was insistent and kept asking him the same question, even saying, "Yes, Daddy, right over there. Who is that man?" Finally he told her to stop asking and she did. What else would make Austin so calm in a cold pool, but an angel? This took place in October--not freezing in Louisiana, but not warm enough to be in a pool either.

That wasn't the first or last time Emily has "seen" someone.........

Unfortunately, after she started school, the "visions" stopped.

but we have a golden e-ticket to bribe her with.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

That'll definately work - I'm easily swayed by bribery:lmao:

"personality implants"? you have my full and undivided attention.:rolleyes1
pirate: pirate:

:lmao:

:sad2: Cheap shot dog!

Yes, but it worked:lmao:

i'd tell her
"i see dead people" it freaked her out.

You're just cruel:lmao:

What a good dad:angel:

Thanks for letting me be nosy,
it's just that my family, especially my mother, is so bad/crazy that I feel better hearing other people's family troubles, makes me feel normal:rotfl:

My mom and I haven't spoken in about 8 years now.
Except when my grandma (her mom) died about 2 years ago, and that was awful...... we didn't really speak, it was just a notch under yelling:headache:

No problem Rose, its nice to know I'm not the only one with a wierd family:lmao:

Rose, How about planning a visit for Oct 09? You might as well go on a cruise then too. Hey! We're cruising in Oct 09!! You can join us!!!

Wow! - how spooky - I love these stories.

Repainting the lounge wall today if I can get to the shop to get the paint exchanged.
