Just got in for lunch, but did a Bad Andy deal on the way home. I stopped at a Boy Scouts Hoagie Sale and bought the three of us hoagies for lunch. After walking around in windchills of the teens this morning, I felt I could treat myself to something special. I haven't had a hoagie in so long.

I think I overdid it this morning as I nearly passed out a few times as I was walking around reading meters. At one point I stopped and sat on a fire hydrant for about 5 minutes to get my wits about me. When I finished the first meter book, I went to one of our pump houses nearby and sat there for about 15 minutes so I could warm up as my face was starting to sting from being out in the cold for so long.

I managed to get a second and third meter book done and that's all the meters I will be doing today. I have a ton of paperwork I need to turn in for the 7 meter books I did between yesterday and today.

Time to get to my hoagie and enjoy my lunch..........:goodvibes

Glad to hear you are feeling better Jen!!! :thumbsup2

Happy Early 40th Birthday Paige!!! :bday: party:

I'll check back in later this afternoon..............

Nancy, you aren't just thinking of Maria's vow of silence, are you? :confused3

Nope, not the vow of silence. I remembered that term but thought it may have been called something different too.

There is an actual military term though. That's the one I need. :confused3

Andy - you need to take it easier:hug:
Take care out there:hug:

Enjoy your hoagie..........I have to ask....whats a hoagie:confused3

Yes Andy, take it easy.

Karen: Do you know what a sub sandwich (submarine sandwich) is? I believe a Hoagie is the same thing. I'm sure Andy will post you a picture. :goodvibes

Nancy, Rob says he agrees with you that there is a specific term, but he can't remember it......Maybe AFEG can help. I have sent an email out to some friends to ask their husbands.

Karen, great pics of the special night. That waiter sure was cute! :groom: :goodvibes

Andy, good for you donating like that  My platelets dropped to a very dangerous level when I gave birth to Kira. I thought I was fine as they were climbing when I left the hospital but then they dropped to another scarier level and had to go back to the hospital. Since then Rob has been donating his blood as often as possible and also now is donating plasma. Unfortunately I can't donate blood because I have Lupus, otherwise I would be there too.

Robin, for you and for your dad

Shelley, some more pixiedust: for Woody :goodvibes

Congrats DI on getting to your goal :thumbsup2

Paige, congrats on the house and HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY!!

Ok, as requested I have made the logo bigger for t-shirts etc.

I made two versions, a rectangular one and a round one. I've also made two versions of the rectangular one, one like our siggie logo and one with some extra space to add your own stuff.

If you want your name(s) added but don't know how, I will gladly help you out with that, just let me know :thumbsup2

Like Jen said earlier, these logos would look great on black tees :woohoo: Easy to spot black tees with orange logos on them

Here's the direct link to the logo page

Karen, As I was remembering about your sister and how she wasn't close with you, and from what I've heard about your mom and you, I was curious....
how do they get along?....Your mom and sister?

Oh...I lost 2 pound this morning:confused3 - last week I put 3 pound on and yet I was good all week,...this week I have eaten loads of choc and cheesecake and cheese sauce and I've lost 2lb:confused3 :confused3 - my body is wierd:rolleyes1

the kids still have dial-up  and its driving me crazy so i'll try to get caught up later.

Also, in case you haven't peeked, I added the pumpkin clipart that Jen found and the Mickey Ears to the door signs page. I did two Mickey Ears set per page so that there is less waste when you are printing them off onto magnetic paper.

Another weekend of errands and nursing home visits before the snow falls again tomorrow. I did hear this morning that the 13 inches we were expecting again might only be about 6. So far SE Wisconsin has had 76 inches of snowfall this season. :scared1:

Chuck and Tony coach a boy's basketball team for Kristin's old grade school. They were awarded the #1 seed for a huge tournament amongst Catholic grade schools in Wisconsin. Teams come from all over the state for this tourny. The tournament begins early next month but now they are involved in other smaller tourny's until then. So I will be a basketball widow for the next few weeks. I plan on getting the cds for Stacy's shower done this weekend!!

If I get those all done, I'll be back on tonight if anyone is around. If I'm not done I want to say one thing:

:cheer2: :cheer2: Happy 40th Birthday Sistah P !!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Enjoy your very special day tomorrow!!

Kudos to Chuck and Tony:thumbsup2

And how exciting about the wedding shower coming up.
I know you'll do an EXCELLENT job on those CD's! You did so wonderful on ours for our tag gifts:thumbsup2

Thanks Rose. This project is taking me so much longer. At first I couldn't get the cover right so a very special DISer designed one for me. Then, Kristin was dragging her heals getting the music for me. After that, I couldn't find the right kind of paper to print everything out on. At least now I have everything I need (except a cd burner...mines busted) to get them done. I just needed to know a final guest list count so that everyone gets one and that I don't burn more than I have to.

Nancy, have you tried Starbucks skinny latte? I'm wondering if it's any good?

Yes, I have tried the Skinny Latte's. They are good and the ones I usually order are: Grande, decaf, skim, sugar free gingerbread (with only 2 1/2 pumps of syrup rather than 5). But I'm so addicted to them, that I would have two every weekend and I rather eat my WW points than drink them. :rotfl:
