Raining very hard here this morning, I'm so glad the temps went up like the forecast stated, would of hated to see how much sn*w this could have been..........

Gotta get my little missy moving so she can get ready for school, we have to leave here in about 30 minutes.......

I just called work and took a Personal Day. After dropping Angelina off at school this morning I came back home and slipped and fell in front of our house. Even though it is raining now, there is still a layer of ice under the water. I don't think it would be too safe trying to walk around and read meters in this mess. If I need too, I'll go in and work either Friday(after my doc appt) or Monday(before the eye doctor) to make up for it.

Has anyone seen either a random act of kindess on their DCL cruises or an act of pure stupidity & deception that they are willing to share?

This has bugged me since our last cruise. I'm not positive on how the Shutters process works when you want to save all your pictures for the last day before purchasing your package. I bought a package for over $100.00 and chose my pictures daily, checked them in and put them in my folder.

On Thursday (or maybe it was Friday), I watched a man take the biggest handful of pictures (I assume they were his own), look around and head up the stairs with them all. Just for kicks and giggles, I followed him and saw him go into a cabin. Now maybe, just maybe, he was showing them to his wife who became so ill on the cruise that she could only smile brightly & pose for pictures but not leave the room for anything else. They made the decision together and he honestly returned all the unwanted pictures later. But...I doubt it.

That just amazes me that someone would do that. I suppose Disney is just setting themselves up for that kind of behavior by just setting the pictures out there for someone to help themselves to.

Photopass will end that kind of dishonesty.

Rant over...I just needed to vent in a place where no one (I hope) would turn on the flames.

I know what you mean Becky...I caught Rick with a needle and thread, and sewing . It's unheard of.

I guess I am lucky in the fact that Woody is really handy with a needle and thread. He can even us a sewing machine! I may have him make our fish extender.

I'm really surprised they don't use photopass. It has been a huge success at the parks.

I've done that! Slipped right down our front steps which are concrete. I had a HUGE bruise for about 2 weeks. Woody thought it was hilarious!

I saw one person photographing the photographs so he didnt have to buy any

I too think photopass is the way to go. Why they print them all up I dont know. Just think of the ink and paper they waste - mind you - dont tell Neil I said so..he'd be out of a job if people stop printing

First off, can I just say that you people crack me up! I haven't posted that much (I feel kind of like the shy kid in the corner who giggles at all the jokes but doesn't really join in!) but I love trying to keep up with your posts! You are all so funny!


I have a stupidy/deception story, but as I typed it it occured to me that it may be inappropriate for our board. It involved a problem with our stateroom, calling the concierge to help take care of it, and their reasoning behind the problem as well as their way of making it right. I wish I had been clever enough to take a picture of it (it might have earned us a hefty obc or a discount on an upcoming cruise).

We joked about it with our stateroom host all week! He had a great sense of humor and played along well. His name was 'P' and the problem was with his counterpart bodily function.
