Well, I never did get my Power Nap in. Just as I was getting nice and cumfy, the stinky teen says, "Dad, I need a ride to the high school for musical practice. I bundle myself up and drive Angelina to the school. Just as I am walking back in the house after dropping the kid off, I get a call on my cell. "Oh dad, I made a mistake, I have practice on Thursday night, not tonight."

By the time I got back after the second trip, I was wide awake again. Kids, gotta love 'em......

Is it volunteer work or are you getting paid?

A friend of mine volunteers at a playgroup. They are losing their qualified person and need a replacement. I said I would go over and see if I want to take it on as no-one else if qualified to run it.

If I take it on it will be paid - only 6 hours a week - I think I could just about cope

Yes! - I was still awake - our whole house was shaking quite a bit for a good few seconds and then a tiny one just after too.

Its the second one in just a few years.
