We did it!!! New page but no FO, sorry.............:sad2:

Michelle usually makes Cherry Cheesecake for Christmas, this year she went wild and made Chocolate Chunk, boy is it ever tasty. I sure wish I could send some your way Jen, but alas, it won't make it through the night here..........:rotfl2:

Yummy...both sound good, but I'm a sucker for chocolate!

It's probably just as well.....I'm supposed to start watching my calories today

Yea, I'm watching my calories as well, they keep going up and up and up....................:rotfl: :scared1:

And speaking of calories, dinner is ready, catch you later............

It's a little slow here at work today, so my mind has been wandering, and there hasn't been anything new to read on our thread!

It's also too early to look for prices on flights for next December, so I have to research something else. It looks like there are a bunch of hotels in the DL area, so I'll probably have to read reviews and then price those....

Hello, anyone out there?

Anyone go after Christmas shopping? I went out for a little while with not much luck. Lori and I found Pirate Santas before Christmas. She went ahead and go one for Scott. I waited and got one today on a bigger sale. I just wanted it for my classroom. We are the Peterstown Pirates. I thought the kids would enjoy it next year. Not too exciting.

We plan to go see National Treasure Two tomorrow. Anyone seen it yet? Good? I'll try to post afterwards. We all really enjoyed NT1. :)

We had a really nice Christmas. The kids are still enjoying the new toys and just being at home. We've all be catching up on lots of home projects. :santa:

Philip has been going in to work for a few hours a day. He's feeling better and better. He has a checkup tomorrow. I'm anxious to see what he is released to do.

We saw National Treasure 2 yesterday and really enjoyed it.

Speaking of movies, here is what we're thinking of seeing tomorrow, any comments (we're only going to one, but not sure which)?

Alvin and the Chipmunks (DS's Choice)
National Treasure 2 (DS would choose that if we offered it)
Enchanted
Water Horse

Jen what do you want to know? I not exactly an expert but I do the area as where what hotel is where. If you want to stay across the street, the Desert Inn and suites isn't too bad and is a suite hotel so it has a microwave and fridge in the room, and literally right across the street. A lot of people like the Howard Johnson Hotel (never have stayed there but it is nice and has McD's and Mimi's cafe close by), it is across the street but about a block or so of a walk. If you will be there the week of Christmas or New Years make your reservations when you are able, kind of like going to WDW the hotels book up.

The only one we have seen is Enchanted. Both DS (7) and DD (12) enjoyed it. I enjoyed it as a relaxing, nonthinking, Disney memories movie with enjoyable songs and actors. It is somewhat fun relating it to all the other princess movies. princess:

It is definitely not an on the edge of your seat kind of movie. It is just sweet. I'm glad we saw it, but I'm glad my husband wasn't with me. He's not as into Disney as the rest of us.

Good morning everybody. Its just me and the Munchkin today - poor Daddy is back at work now without a day off in about 3 weeks except for New years day:sad2:

We're off to the theatre today to see the show we saw 2 weeks ago when we won free tickets. Oh well, it was a good show - we'll still have fun.

We'll be wii'ing this morning then heading out after lunch.

I have Core Rythms dvds for xmas - Hmmmmmm, wonder who'll be trying to shift some pounds by dancing in the new year then:rolleyes:

I'm SO excited!!!!!Of course, we'll probably only get 2 days there, so I'll really have to do my homework to make sure we hit all the highlights. I'll need to check out the DL DISboard, but any suggestions from you guys would be appreciated too!

Are you going to see Walts grave while you're there? I have a map somewhere if you want me to tell you where it is.

We've only been to DL twice - the flights too long for me - I'm ready to kill someone by the time I get off:rolleyes1 - 12 hours is 3 hours more than I can take.

Here you go Jen, I looked this up this morning, was going to post it and forgot.

Boxing Day: http://www.calendar-updates.com/info/holidays/canada/boxing.aspx

This note is for Karen-----my brother brought over some homemade cheesecake that his girlfriend made yesterday. I'm going to go and get me a slice of the cheesecake right now to go with my lunch. I'll be thinking of you while I ENJOY it................:rotfl2:

Thanks for posting the link - I forgot you dont have Boxing Day over there.

As for thinking of me when you eat that cheesecake - think of all those calories instead:lmao: :lmao:

Karen, this taste sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good, homemade cheesecake with chunks of chocolate mixed in, I'm in Cheesecake Heaven right now!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I just had to take this pic for you...........;) My Bad!!! :lmao:

Oh my! - I'm almost licking my screen:rotfl2: - cheesecake heaven:cloud9:

So, any advice on where to start my Disneyland research?

I think Carrie is planning a trip too - perhaps she can help?
