Yup, I got the same one. It'll let you put in more than 4 but after that it isn't accurate anymore. I've been using mine for years coming up with the wrong end result. My leader pointed it out to me when we disagreed about a frozen fruit bar. Geeeez, now I know the problem! :rotfl2: I do agree, those Fiber one bars are the yummiest though, even if they are 2 pts. Thanks for the suggestion last week. :thumbsup2

Well I will share with you that I lost 2 lbs this week, I was happy with that. I have a feeling though that it won't last, this week is party week at school. Staff parties, 5th grade has been having manner training and they are throwing a little hot cocoa party. Lots of goodies this week, oh well, the following weeks I won't have anyone on campus so it will be WW meals for me and since we will be getting off early I will be hitting Curves everyday.

Hello Everyone

Just popping in the say hi.

For all of you that don't know. Scott and I decided that we will not be doing KK2:sad1: It is to hard for us to plan that far in advance with my mothers health and the split custody of the kids. 09 is our year to take the kids on vacation and we can not count on their mom keeping them for us to go, even though it is what is best for thier schooling.

So at this point in time Scott is trying to plan trips to visit everyone. That way we can work it around school breaks.

So I am going to share the events that happened at our school yesterday.
Yesterday morning someone called in a bomb threat to the school district. At first the district didn't know which school it was for as the caller was mumbling. After a little investigating turns out that it was my school that was being threatened. Now this is where the staff and I are po'd about how it was handled. My boss shows up with the PD and goes into the VP's office. Nothing is said to us. She asked me to go to a teachers class and send that teacher to the office, turns out his name was mentioned in the call. They had my clerk listen to the recording to see if she could recognize the voice, and she did as well as another teacher. It turns out that it was one of our students that wasn't at school that day. Still nothing being said, no lock down, no evacuation. We mention that this student had come into the office to ask for homework. The PD has the gall to ask that our staff do a sweep of the front of the school, and my admin says sure! WTH:scared1: The students teacher says he will do it, and then when he is out there it dawns on him what he was actually looking for and he turns around and comes back in.:scared1: Still we are not on lock down, or evac'd, in fact I as the office manager still didn't know WTH was going on! Finally when there aren't any students in the office my clerks lets me in on what is going on. Then the bomb dogs come, still no action on the admin's part to secure the students and staff. The dog alerted to one thing but nothing was found, still nothing to secure the school. Of course all this is going on and the kids are out playing like it was any other day, and of course they don't know what is going on, in fact 99% of the staff didn't know what was going on until the admin called a meeting after school. When I got home it all sunk in and it also sunk in what could have happened and how I don't feel that it was handled appropriately. Principal sends a call out on our message phone program, stating if she thought for one minute that the kids were in danger, Uh hello if we had been an airport we would have been evac'd. I am just sooooooo mad on how it was handled.

My turn to ask for some prayers and pixie dust from our friends here.

Al just found out that he is in atrial fibrilation again, which means he has an abnormal heart beat (you should see the EKG they did Wed. evening). He was diagnosed with this almost 3 years ago and in the course of the following year we spent multiple weekends in the hospital to have him started on new meds and have his heart shocked hoping to get it back into a normal rhythym. His heart would cooperate for a few days and always within 2 weeks he would be back into atrial fib. So we moved on to a newer invasive procedure called a cardiac ablation and that has worked for about a year and a half. He and I are very "bummed" as he puts it. We won't know for sure what they are going to want to do until next Wed. when he sees the Electrophysiologist but as much as he doesn't want to go through the ablation again that seems to be what his internest thinks will happen. I am hoping that by some miracle when he goes in next week his heart will be in a normal rhythym again and this was just a short episode of irregularity. So any extra prayers in our direction would be great about now!

We are praying for your whole family. Please keep us updated on this. :grouphug:

Hi Carrie,
We are hoping to see the Grand Canyon in 2009, so maybe we can plan something so we can meet up. Not sure when we will be going, depends on when Sean can get time off.

Becky

That is horrible, they did handle it completly wrong. Out here everyone over reacts with it but I rather see that then nothing. It a house in the area of the school gets robbed and it is called into the PD. Then the school goes into lock down. If there is a threat to the school of any kind they go into lock down.

Let us know when. We have a place up in near Flag. We would be more then willing to get together.

I got an FO and I am never here.

I am off to watch my show and go to bed. Mac and I are still not over this virus. She still has the runny nose and is very tired all the time. I on the other hand thought I was getting over it until today. I slept for 10 hours last night, and then 8 hours today and now I am going back to bed.

Talk to everyone soon.

It'll be a bummer not having you guys on this cruise, but at least we can keep in touch online!

Here are the videos that I have posted so far:

Manheim Steamroller's Jingle Bells. I worked like crazy on this one. I figure that from July to October I was working on this one. It turned out great!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PngLq3Dp3vM

Main Street Electrical Light Parade. Awesome. It brings out the Disney Characters and is very lively. Best part: It was really easy to sequence!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnCH2no6H9o

Carol of the Bells. Nice and Christmasy. While I listened to it, I knew exactly what to do to sequence this one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF4OLYJ8z08

Disney's Sleigh Ride. I wanted at least one of the Disney songs with the characters singing. This one is fun to listen to. Turned out it was somewhat difficult to sequence. I've not been too happy with it. But it does highlight the disney characters in the yard.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXLSEvBi-dA

Wizards in Winter. Trans-Siberian Orchestra's hit that ignited a firestorm on the internet last year. I had to include it. I can't take credit for the sequencing though, I got the file for free online. It's been a crowd pleaser though.

Becky--our DD's high school had their second bomb scare this school year last week. A girl saw the word "Bomb" written on a stall in the girl's bathroom, she told a teacher and the teacher went to the front office, next thing you know the school is completely evacuated to the football stadium and that's where everyone stayed for the next hour or so until the school was declared safe. Earlier in the year a note was found in the boys bathroom and everyone then was evacuated to the football stadium as well.

The house is spotless, the table is set, the food is prepared and everything is ready....

That leaves me 6 1/2 hours to get myself ready:rolleyes: - should just be able to make it:lmao:

Steve--fantastic job with the lights and videos, they are so amazing, great job and thanks for sharing them!!! :santa: :santa: :santa:

Keep us informed on the Cedar Point meet! We are already planning a driving trip out east for next June, including a visit to Niagara Falls, and if the timing works out right maybe we could include the Cedar Point too :cool1:

June sounds good to me. As long as it is after school is out.

Hey everybody I think I just read that Mike has invited ALL of us to crash at his house for the mini-meet!!!!!;)

Just kidding. I really want this to happen. i know we will be there. My aunt lives right outside of Cleveland so we can also visit her. And probably head to Niagara falls to finish out the trip.
