Mornin' All...........and so another week begins, and it is going to be quite a wet week around our area, well, at least wet and not white.................:rotfl:

Time to get our DD up so she can start getting ready for school...........

Since I only had a couple of the B.O.B. and KK1/KK2 addresses, I wanted to share our 2007 Christmas photocard and letter with everyone.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I put in for a quate from Dreams for the three of us for KK2. It would be for cruise only. I got it back and it is the exact same price as DCL. Not a penny different. I have one more option that I am going to try today.

Scott was thinking for some reason that most of us KK1 were doing this cruise with out the kids. I know some where talk about it but is that still happening. I know Paige is not taking the kids, and Cass would not be taking Kira but is there anyone else who is not taking their kids?

We're taking Thomas....he was in the clubs so much it felt like we were on vacation alone anyways!

He's already been asking when we can go on the Disney boat again, so I just couldn't leave him behind. Now all the family is going too - so there will be 3 kiddos with our group.

We're taking our little ones. I can manage about a weekend without them but then I really start missing them so spending an entire week away is too hard to think about. Maybe when they're teenagers.

Me too...I can't spend more than a day or two without the munchkin around without missing him. That's one of the reasons the Disney cruise worked SO well for us. He loved the clubs, so most of the time it felt like he wasn't there, but other times, we all did things together as a family. It was a perfect mix of couples time and family time.

Do you Americans (or Cass) eat traditional christmas cake?....Hazel has a recipe thats been pasted down since they lived in caves if anyones interested just let me know...I don't eat the stuff but the smell when it's in the oven is to die for....

ps...The last of her family are due to move into a house any day now....:rolleyes1

Morning KK2ers :wave2:

I have been busy working on some projects and haven't been able to post much. Thought I would take the time to do an official intro for those of you who didn't sail with us on KK1.

My name is Cass and I live up here in the North Pole. Ok, fine...I live in Calgary Alberta, 45 minutes away from the gorgeous Canadian Rockies but sometimes it feels like the North Pole! :cold::cold::cold:

I live with my amazing husband Robert who sometimes posts on the DIS as Darkrobe. Rob and I have a beautiful baby girl named Kira who just turned 1. I was 19 weeks pregnant with Kira when I first started posting on the KK1 thread and I posted tons of pics of her during her first year of life, so the KKers saw my baby girl grow up on the DIS.

We have a cabin booked on this cruise but we're not 100% sure that we will actually be going. We don't want to take Kira because she will be just shy of her third birthday and probably not potty trained and therefore cannot go in the clubs or the Mickey Pool so I think it would be a very stressful cruise for all of us if we brought her. So, we are hoping to have either my sister or Rob's mom take care of Kira but it's so far away that we cannot count on that happening.

So that's our story :rolleyes1

For the KK1ers who have been asking about Kira...

Kira Update

She is doing really well, walking everywhere, not so wobbly anymore. She's really starting to talk! She does a lot of animal sounds, especially Woof Woof and Meow since we have some of those woof woofs and meows IN the house and she says it everytime she sees them :lmao: She has ten teeth now, two of which are molars that just came in! (rough few days there!) She is fascinated with books and hates veggies, (just like her mom  ) and learns things SO quickly, it's almost scary!

I will try to post some pics soon!

We are cruising KK2. We are cruising KK2. We are cruising KK2. :goodvibes

Fingers crossed that it works out for you.:wizard:

Hi everyone! It's cold and icy and miserable ... and I'm sitting at my desk at work and that doesn't make it any more enjoyable, let me tell you. ;)

Good news is that the power kicked back on shortly before we went to bed last night; bad news is that we're supposed to get hit with another wave of freezing rain tonight and tomorrow night and maybe even on Wednesday.

I thought I'd stir things up just a bit to keep warm ...

The Pirate deck party started in fall of 2004 ... is anyone here, aside from Jay and me, hoping that by 2009 DCL will have come up with something different? Five years is a long time to keep the same deck party going on constant rewind if you ask me.

But I also have to admit that my hope for a new deck party is also prompted by a total lack of "getting" the whole pirate thing in the first place.

So what do you guys think? What do you hope to see in 2009?
