How many are we up to already?

If we do the ornament idea (which I like by the way), we'll just have to forewarn those who want to join after Xmas next year what we are thinking. Although, there are year round Christmas stores in most cities. Not to mention here in WI, they sell tons of them at State Fair.

Mornin' KK2'ers, I'm an early riser..........well most days anyway........

For the past few years we have taken vacations during the first week of November, as that is Jersey Week for us. Our school district is off for Election Day, County Teacher's In-Service, and State Teacher's Convention. It's kind of crazy, but they make our kids go to school for just that Monday. So, we have taken our DD out of school for that one day and plan a fall get-away.

This past November, we did a 4 day cruise on RCI's Sovereign of the Seas. It was a nice cruise, but we really did miss the Disney touch and feel, especially since it was our first non-Disney cruise.

I asked our DD again last night if she wanted to join us for this cruise and she said, "No, I want you and mom to have some time alone together." What a sweet kid.........

I'll check in later, I have a few more messages to check, then will be getting DD up so she can start getting ready for school, then I have to start getting ready for work. Gotta work to pay for the cruise!!!

I forgot you we such an early riser Andy. Hopefully more UKers will join. They ran the board overnight for us last time. You'll have some people to talk to when you get up.

Where is Chris by the way? He hasn't posted anywhere lately. Must be on another secret mission.

You can add us to the DIStag game, sounds like fun. We did a small version of this on our August 2006 cruise, but it wasn't anything like what you guys did this past October.

Let's see, if I have 5 FO's already, that is about 1/3 of the possible FO's. Seeing that we're at 2,662 pages on the KK1 site, that means I would have over 875 FO's at that rate. Given this thread will be bigger than that one, I would be in the thousands.

Gotta stop this now. It will start controlling my life. The DIS may get addicting.

Good morning all!

Just catching up from last night - looks like we're going to have a great bunch of cruisers!

I am actually going to try and work today, now that the rebooking excitement has subsided (a teeny bit anyway) but I wanted to say hi to the newcomers and the old timers (Jeff ) this morning!

By the way, for those of you that don't know me, I'm Jen, and I'll be sailing with DH Pete and my DS who's 4 1/2 now, will be 6 1/2 when we cruise (you were right, Jeff!). We're Wisconsinites also, we live in Janesville.

My first Disney cruise was the October 20, 2007 Western with a whole bunch of really cool DISers. I'm hooked now. My mom will be joining us, and she was on our last cruise also.

Either, and may I suggest dreams unlimited travel, they have a on board credit they are offering right now.

FO is the first one to post on a page. But someone can steal your fo if you aren't quick on the draw, or the 40 second rule kills ya. It started with the original cruise.

The rules of the FO (Fresh one) are as follows: if you get the first post on a page you need to then post again (to have the first and second posts on a page) to claim an FO. If someone else posts in that second slot, you are denied. That's why the 40 second rule kills you. If there are a lot of us on (and that happens more often than not) then usually someone will steal your FO.

I was on the 10/20 with you - but I hadn't gotten on the boards until right before and right after. So we we kept to ourselves a bit. Sociable but not really hanging with anyone.

BUT, that can change .

We had an awesome time on the 10/20 cruise. My first ever, and frankly it has spoiled me.

Now I booked my first through Mouseearsvacations, but are the deals better through someone else.

I have a huge desire to get booked for 2009!!

I would check into Dreams Unlimited, link is at the top of the page They have a good offer now, double the OBC plus you still get the $50 from DCL if you are a CC member and book before Dec 10th.

Hey! When did that happen Cass? Last I heard you guys were sketchy on booking! It'll be great seeing you two again.

Guess you missed my post...I booked us now just in case since I got $250 in OBC, plus the room that we want. We can always cancel if we need to. It's 2 years away so we have a lot of time to think about it

Wow! - what a day!

Hardly slept last night and gave up at 5am....I was just too excited

Neil and I went TV shopping again today - we've chosen one ...thats a Greece holiday, a Florida nd cruise holiday and now a tv in 3 days ....the credit card company is going to love us

Just got back from the doctors - had to organise all Ellis's medication and repeat prescriptions etc....wow! - it was soooo easy - normally its a real battle at our old doctors to get anything from them - this one just gave me everything I wanted off my list - she's even referring Ellis to get allergy tested - the last place refused point blank to do it - she seems like a great doctor
