BTW, Jeff, my sister has never seen your wonderful photos!!!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Not that we all need to see them maybe just her!!!!!!

Jeff, we loved the card!!!! What a great photo. Did you get it done on the ship? It is so nice of all of you. It was a wonderful surprise that evening after work!:)

Hey Lori we are timeshare owners at Horizons by Marriott in Orlando and we just stayed there this past June! Are you owners there? Any questions just let me know. You guys should love it there, it is really geared towards families. The pools are great with some great slides for different age groups and a Pirate themed pool area!! There is also what looked like a nice mini golf area which we never even had time to play. Next time we go and stay there I want to plan some days that we just relax there and take advantage of all they have to offer. The condo units are great too, nice and spacious and they have a large screened in balcony too.

Well, Scott and I booked a vacation today. We are going to stay Horizons of Marriott in Orlando in May. We are finally using our timeshare. We have had it almost 2 years and have never used it. We are excited to be going to Disney so soon and so unexpectedly. We just decided last night to go, and when he said yes I didn't delay booking it. This is the same guy that is like "do we have to go to Disney every year?" My answer is always YES, YES, YES!!!!! I'm soooooo excited. We took the whole family including Harrison this past Feb. but he will really enjoy it in May!!!!

Anyone want to join us?

Jen the DIS Disneyland boards are very helpful. I spent alot of time reading and asking questions there before our 2 trips to Disneyland. If you are looking for a good book the Birnbaum Disneyland book is a good one that give good overall information on all the attractions, parades, etc.

So, any advice on where to start my Disneyland research?

Another :thumbsup2 for National Treasure 2. We saw it Wed. and we all enjoyed it. I liked it as much as the first one and I hope they do make another! The theatre sure was crowded too.

Thanks for the info. We own at Williamsburg Plantation in Virginia. We looked at all the places in orlando and picked this one!!!! It looks so cool. I like the look of the pirate pool because it doesn't look deep which means Harrison an do most of it without me having to hold him.
We are getting a 2 bedroom and I'm looking forward to being able to not have to eat out so much.
We love staying on property at Disney so this will be different, but I think we will really like it.
If you think of things for us not to miss let me know!

Thanks

I played wii boxing yesterday at our friends house. Their 7 year old little girl knocked me out within the first minute  :lmao: She knocks everyone out that she plays :confused3 I played Rach for a little and we were more evenly "matched" it seemed. We are going to dinner and then over to their house tomorrow night to play more wii!

Oooohh dear, I think I may have an aggression problem:rolleyes1

Just played boxing on the wii:rolleyes1

I knocked them out in every single match:lmao: , where as Neil and Ellis just won on points

so.....be warned!:lmao: - I'm a mean boxer:rotfl2:

Actually... when I used to do Tae Bo at the gym the instructor used to say I looked like I meant to knock her head off:rotfl2:

Its certainly a good workout anyway:woohoo: - If I play wii for 2-3 hours a day I could cancel my gym membership and save $240 a month:eek:

The area of the pool where the pirate ship is is zero entry and I think the slide on the pirate ship dumped into very shallow water too, I'll ask Rachel when she comes in from shoveling. There is also one of those "waterworks" areas where they have all kinds of water just spraying and dumping. We love staying on property too and this was the first time we stayed off property in a long time but it worked out fine, Horizons is not that far away. We went to all 4 parks and DTD while we were there. You'll love the space of the 2 bedroom and having a kitchen is nice plus I love having a washer and dryer right in the unit!

So those of you that have the wii do you recommend it? I only played boxing and bowling for a very short time yesterday and it was alot of fun and the boxing seemed like it could be great exercise. I am thinking that after I play more of it tomorrow night and we get Al to play it too we may want to go out and buy one if we can find one. Of course Rachel is already sold on wanting us to get it. I was thinking it could be a birthday present for the three of us for my birthday in Jan. :rotfl:

Boxing is the greatest. I was playing last night while Mike was in the loft on the computer. I have a bad habit of swearing when I get knocked down. :guilty:

I was kicking butt in bowling though. I bowled a 247 last night... Mike won't play with me anymore. (BIG BABY!) :lmao:

I guess the DIS will be going down soon as it is 9pm, see y'all tomorrow.........

Sounds like my experience with the boxing. I won by knock out in all my matches except the last one. I won 2-1. It was about the 10th fight or so though. They get harder as you move up.

I was boxing for about an hour and a half and just sweating by the time I was done.

I'm trying to get the golf thing down. I can play pretty well, but then get screwed up on a couple of holes. My best for the "9-hole" is +1. I so want to get this thing under par.

Tennis had been going good until last night when I got whooped in 3 straight matches. Then I got back on board and started playing better and won a couple.

Bowling has been o.k. I am consistently between 150-165. My high is only 171. DS's is about 150 something.

I haven't lost in baseball yet, but I did have a tie.

We (or would that be Wii now) have Carnival as well. DS loves the skeetball (I think they call it alley ball on the game). Some of those games are hard though. I'm actually going to play Wii with DS when I finish up here.

Still haven't found out if we can play each other on the internet. From what I read, you can't. It would be too cool for our DS's to play each other (or us for that matter).

Do you ache the next day? My shoulders and arms are killing me!

:woohoo: :woohoo: lucky things!:woohoo:

:rotfl2:......I was wondering when the title of the thread was going to change, now that Christmas is over........:rotfl2:

:lmao:.........Me thinks someone has too much time on his hands...........:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: I hadnt even noticed!:lmao: :lmao:

We have early dining. We'd like to be linked with the group this time too!

:thumbsup2 - cant remember who did it last time. I think we just need to call Disney nearer the time. It was lovely being surrounded by KK'ers to say hi to. We took up a whole big corner of the restaurant!

It was fun sitting near so many people you knew. We hope to do that again this time.:thumbsup2

Definately worth it. We have 7 games so far - the best are definately the "active" ones that get you out of your seat. Good family fun and the time just flies by

Hi everyone...

Just thought I'd show you what my goofy kid (Cassie) does in here spare time. :rotfl2:
