How did everyone hear about or get started DISing?

Of course, many of you know that I heard about it from the best sister ever!:lovestruc  :lovestruc

I found the DIS board when I was obsessively researching our first Disney Cruise. I think I had posted about 5 or 6 questions, and then on one of the questions, someone from the Oct 20th thread (I'm pretty sure it was Steve) posted they had a thread for the Oct 20th cruise. I lurked for a bit before I posted on that thread "cuz it seemed like everyone already knew each other so well (that was May or June before the cruise, so I wasn't on that thread as long other people) but I started posting, and boy am I glad I did. Pete and I both agreed that meeting fellow DISers and playing DIS tag really added to our enjoyment of the cruise. I know we would have had fun anyway, but running around the ship tagging people, seeing DISers on the Pirate encounter (and a BIG thanks again to Suz who took some great photos of us in the water with my camera) and just seeing DISers around the sship made the cruise extra special.

Not sure I can face exercise today with this head cold and cough.:sad2:

Dont fancy leaping around, if I do yoga I'll probably loose my balance cos my ears are all "poppy", I could wii though! I could box sitting down - upper body workout :thumbsup2

Take a break for one day...if you're sick, your body needs rest to recover. Feel better soon!

Lori - darling pics!

One thing about having a boy - don't get to do the hair and makeup thing. Although Thomas DOES love to dress up - we have a whole basket of dress up clothes in the living room, viking, doctor, multiple pirate outfits inccluding Capt. Hook (from the cruise:)) , chef, etc...

Let's see...what else could I talk about this morning all by myself...

Here's one for everyone - name one character you think they should ADD to the Disney cruise characters currently on board.

I know Thomas would LOVE to meet Tigger....

Another poll for the BOBer's...

If you have seen the POTC movie, who is your favorite chatacter?

I love the shows. I feel like we get to go "out" every night.

My favorite excursion has been the thrill boat ride I did with Alex in Key West. We had a blast. For the eastern though, it would have to be Trunk Bay.

Hi Lori, its me again, just having a sneeky peek before starting the mountain of ironing at my side, sean at church and liv and her friend at attached to wii controls and are no company at all, they probably dont even know im in the room.::rolleyes1
just been looking at excursions in st thomas and st maarten, they look fantastic:banana:
where is trunk bay?
do you know where we can swim with dolphins as last time in Cozumel it was cancelled:sad1:

One more post, and I'll be one of the "top 10" posters for our thread...

I have such high ambitions in life...:rotfl2: :lmao:

A techie question for Andy...

I see the "DIS" podcast references around....is this a podcast you download from somewhere? Or do you listen to it online?

I'm back:goodvibes

Hi Cath, Trunk Bay does look georgous! - I think most of us are going to be heading there!
