Good afternoon Heather. Hope you're having a good day.

Andy: FYI...I got my DCL poster from ebay in the mail on Tuesday. Guess what? It's damaged! :scared1: I just can't win on this can I?

I did email the seller and told him it was damaged inside the tube but that the tube was in perfect condition when it arrived. The poster was torn and wrinkled even worse than the one Chuck sat on. He offered to send me another one, but I'll believe it when I see it. Sure would hate to put a black mark on his perfect ebay rating.

Bad luck Nancy, we've had a couple of bad wins. Ebay are useless when it comes disputes. I'm all bunged up with cold, but managing to DIS.

attention US gov....
please send my tax rebate directly to wdw, in care of mickey mouse.:lmao

It sure would be nice of Mr. Bush to give us all some extra $$$ to spend at Disney, huh?

Hey Rose, no more excuses then - you could put down a deposit for B.O.B.!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

our dcl house party packaged arrived yesterday.:thumbsup2
theres some cool stuff in there but our package was damaged and the
"collectors print" and 3 of the posters were crushed.:sad2:
they really didnt package it well at all!
i emailed them yesterday and got a response that they would try to get replacements out asap.
the party had to kind of get switched. our nephews bday is sat.(they live 2 hrs away) since my family was all going to be there anyway we decided to make his bday party a dcl party too. he is excited about it.:thumbsup2
i have to get the tart girl to take some pics of the dcl goodies box.:thumbsup2

Can't wait to see!

I'm not going to a DCL party in real life or online :sad1:

Oh well! At least I still get to go on the cruise! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Ok, I'm a bit confused so I'm hoping someone can recap...

Where exactly are people trying to plan DISmeets? On the East Coast, Ohio, or both? :confused3

Here's another question....

Since we get off the boat on Halloween, does anyone want to try and organize a trick-or-treat for the kids in the group? Maybe during a sea afternoon or something?

Just a thought...

Seriously, no one's here?

Oh well, I can run up the post count anyway...be proud of me, Jeff!

Karen - Thanks for the suggestions!

My main is actually going to be cooked in a slow cooker, so I will not have to do to much with it. I will have a fruit salad I need to prep, but I can do that ahead. Other family members are bringing starters and desserts. I'm just worried about keeping the house clean with an almost 5 year old running around!

I have to buy food and wine tomorrow (a lot of wine!) so I'll make my list tonight...

Hey I just heard this on the news! Is it a done deal?

I'd still love to put down that deposit!:yay:

I don't think it's a done deal, but the talk is pretty serious. If they send me a check, I'll cash it... :goodvibes

Here is what I found on the internet:

Congressional aides, speaking on condition of anonymity because the deal had not yet been announced, said they hope the checks could go out as early as June.

Individuals who pay income taxes would get up to $600, working couples $1,200 and those couples with children an additional $300 per child under the agreement. Workers who make at least $3,000 but don't pay taxes would get $300 rebates.

Rose,

If you put the deposit for the cruise on a Disney Visa card, you'd have 6 months of 0%. It won't be due until the check comes.

That will be perfect timing. :thumbsup2
