The sun is shining but its blooming cold here today - no gardening for me today.

Not sure what happened with all those repeat quotes. - I think the Dis has a gremlin who was playing tricks on me this morning.

Karen......."woof" around our house was started by my DD's attitude. Whenever she would get snappy with her mother, I would say, "woof" meaning she went overboard a little and needs to tone herself down. I was using the "woof" the other night in jest to your post. It was all in good fun..........

We dodged another bullet yesterday. We had a few sn*w showers go through our area, but most of the sn*w stayed to the east of us. Atlantic City which is about 50 miles to our east received 2.5" of the white stuff.

It is brutally and windy here this morning however.

So earlier was the topic of tax rebates, IF we get one mine is going straight to paying off the 09 cruise. I'm afraid if it is my pocket too long I will spend it.

Key word there is "if". And I also suppose they'll either be taking taxes from it or we'll have to claim it on our 08 taxes next year.

I'm paying nothing right now on the BOB deposit. If you pay your bill off in full and then have a credit, it will reduce that balance though.

I've never had ONLY the cruise payment on their, so I don't know first hand, but I'm surprised they would have a minimum for the 0%.

No, I have only used that card once--to book the cruise. All I have on it is the deposit. I got the new card specifically for that reason, so I could make sure no interest was applied to that deposit. So I was puzzled when I had a late fee. When I called and told him I thought I didn't have to pay anything for 6 months, he said I still had to pay the minimum charge but no interest. Maybe I have a minimum charge because the credit limit is relatively low ($6000). Thoughts?

Like I said, I've never just had a deposit on there, so it makes sense to me that you need to make a minimum payment.

I put items on that do not have a chance to be returned. Since we pay our credit cards in full every month, any credits would eat away at the 0% balance. Since we have things such as the phone, cable, internet, etc. on the bill we pay that off which is always above the minimum payment. Therefore, no need to pay the 0% balance down.

That may be a suggestion on how to keep the 0% truly 0% for the whole 6 months. Put something on each month that would be atleast the amount of the minimum and pay it off. Plus, you'll get more points.
