And here is me with Lori--the supermodel! She is gorgeous, y'all--skinny, skinny, skinny! :cool2: We had a great chat. Too bad she had to go back to work.

You both loooooooook maaaaaaaaaaahvelous!!! :thumbsup2

Thank you, Thank you. It's funny how we both wore red.:goodvibes

Strong vibrant women who know their own minds always wear red! :thumbsup2

thank you brenda. i've always thought so too.:thumbsup2

"Daddy's Little Girl" made it official by getting this tattoo on her lower back last evening.
The "crown" is a symbol that she is also my "Princess."
Hazel and I tried talking her out of the tattoo, but she was determined and wore us down. Lina tried talking me into getting a tattoo, I said, "I don't think so." Then I told her, if she motivated me enough to lose 50 pounds, I might consider getting one. I think, if I ever get to 49 pounds lost, I would start eating "buckets and buckets" of ice cream........:rotfl:

I don't have a tattoo and am really not a huge fan of them BUT, if one of my girls got that I would think that was really sweet! You must be a great DADDY.

Nite Andy.

We finally hooked up our Wii and have been playing all evening. I really stink at it.:lmao: Can't say I'm good at anything. Oh well, maybe Sean, Cath and Liv can give me pointers when they are here.:thumbsup2

Where the heck did everyone go? I come on to check what's up and the thread is dead. Only a handful of posts this evening.

Maybe the UK will make up for it overnight.

We didn't get a greeter, we were too late, we'll have to try next time. We stayed in Brooklyn and it was actually a very nice area. If we had a greeter I'd like to get into some of the more residential areas and not so touristy areas.
We did get to Chinatown, twice actually. What an adventure in purse buying we had there! Rachel bought herself a total of 7 purses, all designer knock-offs, for less than $200.00 and I didn't intend to buy any but ended up with 2. Then Rach talked to 2 of her friends and we "had" to go back to Chinatown to buy a purse for each of them too. We were shown into "back rooms" and shopped in a van :scared1:
We did a lot of walking and subway riding and we did the double decker bus tour where you can get on and off. We went to the top of the Empire State Building and we payed an extra $15 each to get to the 102 floor which is enclosed and there was hardly anyone there so the man that worked there was great at answering questions as to what we were seeing. We went to the Statue of Liberty early in the morning so we were able to go inside and climb the stairs in the pedestal, which was neat. Rachel says she is going to go to college in NYC so we actually went and looked around NYU and Columbia University.

Good morning/afternoon all....

My exercise the past couple of days has primarily been playing on the Wii and the Wii Fit - does that count??? ;) I did some yoga exercises and some step aerobics and hula hooping (that is a frustrating one!).

Thomas managed to beat me in boxing, golf, and bowling yesterday, too! Needless to say, we're having fun with our new toy.

Jen glad to see you found a Wii and a Wii Fit :cool1: I think the Wii Fit counts as exercise, you're moving and not sitting on the couch right! I've been doing the yoga exercises and the step aerobics and advanced step aerobics. I'm not very good at the hula hoop one either, but I'm getting better.

Lori the more you play the better you get. Watch out it can get addictive!
