We went to the Statue of Liberty early in the morning so we were able to go inside and climb the stairs in the pedestal, which was neat. Rachel says she is going to go to college in NYC so we actually went and looked around NYU and Columbia University.

We did this some years ago and I was amazed at the security checks you had to go through before you got to the start of the tour. Really good tour though.

We're both just fine. We're getting a bit overwhelmed with wedding planning, but still well. Kristin and Jesse are leaving for a week vacation in Arizona on Saturday, so we'll be getting a much needed "wedding planning" break. I think I'm looking more forward to their vacation than they are. :good vibes

Is my Schnookums staying out of trouble?:lovestruck

ME Trouble?,no never:rolleyes1

Its good isnt it! The view isnt up to much though!

I don't know Karen...I thought it was magical. I remember phoning home and saying to my Mum..."You'll never guess where I am?"

Hi Shelley..you well?

Good morning,

How exciting for all of you going on the repo. I wish it had been later we so water to go. But college starts the end of August and we need ed to be here. I am hoping they do more in 2010.

Andy- keep it up at the gym. cute tatoo, I don't like them but it was at least tasteful.

I went to the gym last night 60 min cardio sculpt and 30 min pilates. It was a new cardio teacher- too much salsa and kick box. I like basic step- I have no rhythm or coordination.

Have a great day all.

Hello ladies! Busy, Busy, Busy! We are working on our house-painting, fixing soft spots in the plaster and refinishing our kitchen cabinets. :headache: I hurt in places I didn't even know I had! This ends up happening every time we go on vacation. We come home and Woody gets a bug up his butt to redo the house. :sad2: I have also started running again in the hopes of doing a 1/2 marathon in November and the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon in March. Finger crossed! (oh wait-that hurts too much! )

Paige are you all packed and ready to go?? Bet you are!!

Nice car, Shelley. Hybrid?

:lmao: NO! But it's a 6 speed automatic so it gets better gas milage. Average is 16 city and 22 hwy! We were very surprised!! We get 12 city and 16 hwy with our Jeep so it's much better. It also gives us the room we need for our mountain bikes and kayaks. It seats 7 adults comfortably! We had a friend of ours who is 6' 1" get in the third row and he said it was very comfy! Plenty of leg room for even him! We are going back to talk with the dealer today.

Good for you! My suburban surely doesn't get 22mpg....:sad1: I keep thinking that by the time I can afford to buy another car, their will be hybrid SUVs as big as I want......Can you say "spoiled American?"

Oh that's my dream car:love: , just can't afford it.:guilty:

The only way it is working out for us is 0% financing and they are coming down $12,000 from the sticker price! :cool1: Makes it the same price as a new 4 Runner which we were initially looking at.

The new Hybrid Tahoes are nice. We looked at one but too rich for my blood!

I have piccies somewhere but they're not digital. I just remember staring out of little dirty windows from her "hat"/crown thinking "all those stairs for this?":rotfl:

I actually enjoyed seeing inside of her more than the view from the top. She's one fat lady:goodvibes
