Good job Hazel!

Actually we made out rather well. The hand lotion Hazel wanted at the mall is usually $12.00 per tube, today it was on sale for $5.00 per tube, so she got two tubes. The thing she wanted to get Lina at AC Moore was $2.79 but we had a coupon for 40% off so got that for $1.79 with tax included. Next stop was at CVS for my Move Free, Hazel had a $4.00 CVS coupn, plus another $1.00 coupon, so we saved another $5.00 there!!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Well, have a great Holiday everyone. I'm off to start cutting up veggies, making a fabulous dip (if I do say so myself :snooty: ) and I'm even baking some chocolate chip cookies for the fireworks tonight.

You just had to go ahead and mention chocolate chip cookies didn't you MG........

Happy Independence Day!!!!! :flower: :earboy2:

I am wearing my shirt today for you (It has the above image on it :thumbsup2 )

Andy, good luck with getting back on track :thumbsup2 I really like my elliptical, I find it doesn't hurt my back or knees...do you find the same about your knees??

I have a very bad back (birth defect) and it hurts just doing 5 minutes on the treadmill or bikes but I did 40 mins last night and it didn't hurt one bit :woohoo:

WI'ers...have fun tonight :thumbsup2 :cool1: Wish I was closer, I would have made the drive ::yes::

But it might be a good thing with all those cookies and s'mores :rolleyes1

Mel, how was your little prince's first birthday???? Did he enjoy his special day? Are you having a party for him this week-end??

Joanne, for the next couple of weeks I have a hint of what you deal with during touristy season...Today is the beginning of The Calgary Stampede, which is a big deal here and it draws millions of visitors.

I hate the Stampede:mad: Traffic is nuts, stores are nuts and everything has big line-ups. Good thing I don't go out much anymore :lmao:

I'm used to the bike and treadmill because I had to use them a lot during my PT after my knee surgeries. I haven't used the elliptical much before today, I kind of felt a little motion sickness on it, that's why I got off after only 5 minutes. Lina was on the elliptical for her whole 30 minute workout.

Speaking of the Australian.....

No posts yet today Karen? Everything ok? Sorry I missed a few pages in case you were going somewhere this morning. :confused3 How's our little black belt?? :rolleyes1

It does take some getting used to, but give it a chance Andy :thumbsup2 It gives you an amazing workout with no impact! My first time on it I think I did 5 minutes too  That was at my gym many moons ago

I do it a little differently, I don't hold onto the handles, so I am more or less jogging but that took me a while to master :lmao: I started with 30 mins and I am up to 40, with a goal of 60 mins eventually :scared:

Jeff, from mapquest.....

Total Estimated Time: 14.0 hours 14 minutes
Total Estimated Distance: 840.94 miles

Our house to yours. That is just a little further than the drive we'll have next week to WDW.:scared1:

And you're not coming why? :confused3

Hey losers (and I'm talking about weight ... :lmao: ) I just ordered Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred from Amazon for $11.

It's three 25-minute workouts ... cardio / strength / abs and supposedly if you follow it she claims you can lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days. I'll be happy with 10.

There are some ladies on the workout forum that Jay and I hang around on who swear by it. They say it's tough but fairly easy to follow ... and they've had some good results already.

I've gotta look less flabby by the 22nd of August which is when Jay's anniversary trip to Boca Raton begins. I'm not showing up at a posh Florida beach resort looking like Flabby McButt Cheeks with Sausage Link Arms. :lmao:

I'm going to give it another try, maybe tomorrow morning??? :upsidedow
