I seem to have found a way to combine 2 goals in one: cleaning and exercise! We are getting the carpets cleaned and had to clear out the main levels. SO.... many trips up and down stairs with boxes! I hope this helps my weight loss efforts!

Now, the basement is full of stuff. I'm not even 100% sure what kind of stuff. So, we will spend many days in the basement sorting out stuff.

As you can tell, basically we have TOO MUCH STUFF!!!!!

Don't you just love it though when all is said and done? I cleaned out a few closets last month and boy did that ever feel good.

Well, good morning people. A miserable grey start to the day here. I'm up at stupid o clock today - couldnt sleep past 4.30am, so I finally gave up.

The school meeting went well last night. We raised just under $10,000 from the school funday

We have discos and fashion shows before term ends, so busy busy busy.

I might suggest a penny trail next. Its easy and usually brings in quite a lot of £££.

I saw that yesterday Karen. I thought it would look good in my office at work but then had to reconsider. I would probably be starring at it all day rather than getting some work done.

Well I was supposed to have the day off today. We closed for a nice 4 day weekend. But early yesterday one of our newest jobs blew up and now I have to go into work today.

We had to recruit every teenager we know to help us out. At one point we had 10 teens helping us but it turned into nothing but a big gab session and we had to let them go. So now it's up to the rest of the employees to come in on their day off to assist.

It's not going to be a happy group.

What's a penny trail?

Sorry - all the kids collect spare change / coins for a week or two - then bring them in and lay them on the floor in a loooooong line.
We measure the line and see how far - I'm going to suggest a "money mile".
We made loads last time at his old school and the kids loved doing it. Its amazing how a few pennies add up

I've been trying to catch up! I've been at church camp for three days volunteering while DS was in a camp. I love going down there!

Glad to see so many people back on the boards!

I'll be popping in off and on--we have plans to go to the mountains for the Fourth. AFTER, I paint DD bedroom. I'll try to post some pics of all when things slow down again!

Glad to see you back on Tanya and you're right, it IS nice to see so many more come back and post. The thread is getting to be its old self again.
