Hi Jen Mouse, love your piccies:cool1:

I wouldnt add a bookshop .....I didnt have a spare second to read!

I'd like a mini golf or that spa that hung over the side of the boat on Heathers ship:yay:

Hi Karen Mouse :goodvibes

Ohhh....I forgot about that spa on Heather's ship....can I change my vote? That looked WONDERFUL!

Thomas's class is supposed to go to the pool for a field trip today, but we're supposed to get storms in the afternoon. Maybe they'll get some time in the pool before it storms - Thomas was really excited to wear his new "water shirt" today (rash guard shirt) so I hope he gets to! He's such a funny kid!

Its absolutely chucking it down here now. The rain is bouncing off the pavements and the trees are bent double in the wind:eek: - there goes my afternoon of planting up my new plants:rolleyes:

I just fetched all the stuff I needed too:rolleyes: - oh well, I guess I'll have to dis instead:rolleyes1

I'm off to a school/parent meeting tonight. I'm now on the school commitee for raising funds. Any new ideas that your kids schools are doing? We do the usual...sponsered stuff, fun days, fashion shows, etc.

Any ideas welcome:thumbsup2

Hmm...we do a lot of the same stuff here. The one thing I thought of would be a walk/run (kinda like what AFEG's Ryan is doing on bike) and poeple can pledge per mile or just a set amount if the kid participates. One of my friends' kids' school does this, and it's nice in that all the money goes to the kids.

I wonder if Steve could invent a contraption for my stationery bike for my lap top. I could DIS and exercise all at the same time. :goodvibes

Hmmm.... As a matter of fact...

Just stopping by to say Hi.

Work has been nuts and it isn't going to get better anytime soon. Trying to figure out where the unemployment is coming from though. We have 25% of our positions open (we employ over 50 people) and it is hard to find good people. People are leaving us because there are openings elsewhere for them. :confused3

I've been in long, if not all day, meetings about every other day. I don't have time to get my normal work done, which is actually more than normal now due to year-end this Monday (6/30).

I'll try to stop in more often. Not sure if I'll be able to read back. PM works best if you have a specific question for me.

Later kids.

Hey Jeff, sorry we missed you. Good luck at work I know how crazy things can get.

I thought I'd post a few Door County pics this morning for everyone's viewing enjoyment...17 days and counting until my trip there!

the pics are awesome! Thanks.

Now I know exactly how to keep you from nicking all the goodies in Cove Cafe ... I'll just sabotage your kreaky knee. :lmao:

 I'll look out for your "one leg" sticking out, trying to trip me up as I sneek out of Cove Cafe:lmao:

We have loads of walk/cycle things here already for big charities, not sure they'd go for one at school too - good idea though - keep 'em coming:thumbsup2

Well, Ellis likes his new teacher for next year:thumbsup2 :teacher:

Phew!

He had to stay school dinners today - he had chicken nuggets and garlic bread:rolleyes: - he left the strawberry icecream - "tasted disgusting" apparantly:rotfl:

Maybe he'll think twice now about moaning over his tuna sweetcorn pasta salad, chicken sandwich, yoghurt and choccky biscuit in his lunchbox next time.:rotfl:

Darn this work, I don't know if you have it in England but cookie dough sales make a fortune here. Every one loves cookies. The football team used to do car washes- and yard sales it's all free money.

Sorry I messed up your page. I am bored with accounitng right now.... needed a break. I am trying not to be hungry..........................

Karen, I'm too subtle to trip you ... it will be something more insidious than that. You can call me Sneaky 3. ;) :rotfl2:

Joannel ... I'm hungry too and I just finished eating an apple. That was supposed to make me less hungry! :lmao:

Sorry, drive by posting, no time to DIS this lunchtime, very busy.........

Tonya Harding.

In the past, my kids' elementary schools did something like this with jumping rope.

We dont have cookie dough, but a cake sale in school time is always a great money maker - thanks - I'd forgotten that one:thumbsup2

Eek! - I'll be on the lookout:eek: :lmao:

I'm sorry I dont get the Tonya Harding joke? - I just googled her and she's a figure skater?:confused3 - did she injure someone's knee?

Jumping rope - hmmm.... thats a new one, maybe the girls could do a sponsered skip and the boys a sponsered goal score or something similar:thumbsup2

Me likey those ideas:thumbsup2
