Oh, yeah. Tomorrow is my last day at my old job and the new one begins on Tuesday.

I'm having so many second thoughts!!! :headache:I hope I am doing the right thing!

You'll be fine.

It's common to doubt yourself after making such a big change, especially because you're leaving the familiar for something unknown.

I've never been one to shy away from changing jobs if it seemed like the right time, but then as soon as I do I start wondering if the grass really wasn't greener on the original side of the fence. :lmao:

You're a bright woman - you'll do great and this is what you said you wanted so just remember the reason you made this change in the first place. :goodvibes

Andy, this is a GREAT picture!!!
Looks like the party was a success! :woohoo:

Thanks Mel, and yes the party WAS a success!!! :thumbsup2

Hazel and I have been taking it easy ALL day today!!!!! :goodvibes

"Old softy dad" here decided to cut Lina's sentence in half. Instead of making her pay for the both the upper and lower retainers, I told her she can pay for one, and I would pay for the other as my gift to her, Lina gladly accepted!!! ;)

Brenda, that was really well said. Thank you. I needed that. I am going to look back on your words probably several times in the next few days.

Thanks.

:thumbsup2 Excellent! I'm sure Lina was very very happy about that!!!

Just happy to do something helpful around here for a change!

And I really do understand ... been there many times before.

So are we crazy to consider this? EB and I have been talking about a FW cabin for the week of Christmas (this year)!!! :confused3

Andy, Kristin and I are having an emotional day ourselves. She is cleaning out some of her buckets that we have stored in the basement. We went through some old grade school things, some old pictures, things she got from Chuck's mom who passed away in 1995 and some toys she had as a little girl.

We counted 5 Cabbage Patch dolls, 8 Barbie Dolls (one without a head and one with a hair cut) 1 Skipper doll, 2 Ken dolls. One without an arm and one who fell into the QT bottle...he's all orange. She also has over 50 Beanie Babies. YIKES, I could've gone on the Repo with all the money I spent on those things!!

Now she's going through all her high school things and I can hear Jesse saying..."What the heck are you keeping that stuff for"? He just brought up a box full of stuff from Kristin's old boyfriend from high school. :scared1:

I'm going through pictures for their wedding video now.

Yeah, she's good like that Mel. Best wishes to you both tomorrow and Tuesday.

Since it is such a slow night on the thread, I'm signing off for the night, see ya tomorrow........:wave2:

Andy.. your pictures were nice. Thanks for sharing. I do have to say "congratulations" on getting all the balloons there (except for the popped ones!) It reminded me of our recent balloon escapade:

Megan and Sarah and I went to pick up 20 balloons for our Brownie Girl Scout ceremony at the end of the school year. Sarah was so excited and took hold of the balloons in the store. We got to the car and I was figuring out how to put them in. Sarah thought I was grabbing them and let go! 20 balloons floating away is quite a sight!:sad2: A lady in the parking lot saw it happen and went in to ask them to replace them. After I calmed down a bit, we went back in. Sarah was still in tears.:sad1: But... they said they usually charge half-price to replace balloons, but the manager said to give them to us FREE!:goodvibes

SO... all was well!

OMG I'm melllllllllllting :scared: It's after 9 PM and it's 28 ºC (82F!)!!! Having no A/C really sucks on days like this!! It's hotter here now than Orlando (mind you, it's 2 hours later there but still!!! )

Well, this should be a really tough workout!!! :faint:

You'll be fine...deep breathes, positive thoughts and bucket loads of pixie dust

Good morning peeps:goodvibes ... Neil wasnt called out last night so he got paid to sleep for 12 hours:woohoo:

He's just took the grand cherokee to the garage - :headache: £££££££

Its a sunny day here, I'm off to he gym as soon as the munchkin is in school, then we're sorting out the garage - meant to be a playroom - turned into a dumping ground for junk.

I went through my wardrobe last night and got 3 bin liners full of stuff for the charity shop. It was quite theraputic - I've been holding onto so many clothes hoping to someday squeeze back into them. I threw them all away and just kept the ones I stand a chance of getting back into:rolleyes1

I found clothes I forgot I had!

Anyway, good morning everybody - have a great day today:goodvibes

That was nice of them to replace the balloons for free, I'm sure Sarah felt very bad about letting the balloons go, but accidents happen.
