10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with BOB) - Thread #8

Today at our school we are having our Multicultural Day. Teachers are grouped together and they present activities for certain countries.
Plus it's a half day . One more week to go then the kids are out from 6/27-7/7 , thank goodness, this is the craziest time of the school year. Our new school year starts 7/8. Hoping this will be our final year for year round. Of course that means a paycut for me, but I will get the month of July off.

Hi everyone...anyone out there? We don't seem as chatty today...

I just finished reading Carrie's DL trippie - I'm trying to decide on the "must-see" things for our trip to DL since we'll only have 2 days and it's a busy time there - 2 days before Christmas.

I've also been reading about the Jedi Training Academy on the DL board - that would be SO cool for my little SW fan!

Hi people

Just had a delicious bacon and mushroom risotto for dinner - and still within my daily allowance too

Neils doing well aswell. Its hard for him being on the road a lot, and staying in hotels (like tonight again) , but he's trying to stick to it as much as he can.

He's even found the branch of our gym down in Cardiff and goes there after work Hopefully by July we wont look too hideous on the beach

Its only going to be a little one that I will throw away afterwards, but it will at least be festive in the room.

Karen, why don't you just order one from the WDW Florist and have it delivered to your room? Then you wouldn't have to worry about including it with your luggage.

Hope everyones summer is off to a fun start. We have our final kickball game tomorrow night and our tournament Saturday. Then we are free until after July 4th when summer leagues start. Hope to have some Disney pic up for your viewing pleasure next week.

Our new treadmill comes in tonight. No more running in the heat! I am very excited.

That's an interesting schedule. Is that typical in CA?

Hi All--just got back from dropping Lina off at Project Graduation. This event is held at our local community center from 10pm until 1:30am. The pool, gym and climbing wall will all be open and they have all kinds of food for the kids. Nothing stronger to drink than soda. I got Lina there about 10:10 and the place was quite packed with kids.

I'm not going to have time to post any pics tonight as I have to go to work tomorrow and I need to get some sleep.

All went well, no family crisis, but Hazel and I shed quite a few tears when we saw our baby walk in, then again when she was receiving her diploma and when she was walking out at the end of the ceremony. My camera died just after one of my nieces used it to take a few pics of Hazel and I with Lina. My mom had her camera in her car, so we went and took a few pics with that camera, but I will have to wait a few weeks before I get those pics and can scan them into my laptop.

The weather was absolutley beautiful, we could not have asked for a better night!!!
