Good afternoon everyone We saw the Indiana Jones movie this morning and we really enjoyed it, another entertaining action packed film The radiologists I work with "rented" the theatre for the employees and their families and gave us money for snacks too, it was very nice!

Congratulations to you to Rose for all the hard work you put into getting him there

Sean didn't even know he was graduating this weekend!

He spoke with his boss on Thursday and I heard him on the phone....
going "Um I think I can work Saturday...."

I yelled "No! You have senior breakfast, graduation practice and then the end of school picnic!"

He says: "Oh, am I graduating this weekend?.... Oh, Bobbi (his boss) I don't think I can work on Sunday.....I'm graduating I guess, oh, maybe I could work in the morning"

OMG!
I told him he must be the only senior not knowing he's graduating this weekend!
And didn't even tell his boss! Luckily she wasn't mad but she told him that if she was his mother she'd be upset with him too!

I did make him tell her that absolutely no way he's working this weekend, sorry that it inconvienced her.

Crazy kid! he said all he cared about was when was he getting his graduation money?

I have it running right now in another window. I love hearing the background sounds from the Boardwalk, the birds chirping, the music playing and the horn whenever a boat comes in. I'll have to try and catch the fireworks tonight, it seems like it might be a good angle to see them again

They decided they're not going to have a employee Christmas party anymore but do a few family oriented things throughout the course of the year instead. It was very nice!

we had planned on seeing it today but thats not going to happen.

Definitely try and get to see it at the theatre at some point Mike. It sounds like you and Robin could use a little diversion from everything else

While my sister is gone to England, my godson Miles will be living with us here for 3 weeks. He couldn't go with them because he has his grade 10 exams. Gotta go fix up Kira's playroom for him.

And more ST's...just burning a video for my another one of my nephews, Nick who got himself a broken nose and a lacerated liver playing rugby on Thursday. He is in the hospital and basically can't move from his bed for the next few days. Thankfully the bleeding stopped and so far he doesn't need surgery. Just waiting on princess to wake from her nap so we can all go visit him.

and prayers that your nephew Nick continues to heal without surgery!!!!

Although I only live about 10 minutes from Philly, I hardly ever go over there except for sporting events or to go to the airport. The thing I can suggest is Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, Besty Ross House, maybe the Art Museum(sp) you can do the Rocky Run up the steps. My brother Rob was a tour guide dressed up in the Colonial garb, I'm not sure if he still does that or not, he also portrays Ben Frankiln from time to time. I'll try to get in touch with him for any other suggestions.

You might even try to reach him by his e-mail address/phone number listed, but he is one hard fellow to get a hold of, as he works several different jobs to support his family. Hi Everyone (who are all probably sleeping while this west coaster is still awake)
Have to post a proud wife moment today. My DH Sean got to shoot at the range with the FBI today::cop: . Shot a 47 out of 50 with the sniper rifle. Then the FBI held a BBQ Lunch, and he came home looking like a racoon. Yes Mother Goose he does need the sunscreen lecture when you see him. He was all when he got home

Sad moment of the day was when Sarah called me at work crying. The problem with special ed (besides the disability) is that she is in a class of 9-12graders, so some of her friends graduated tonight. She sat out on our porch and listened to some of the ceremony.

Sure Cheryl. Sign off before I can get home and get on line. How are the gasoline prices your way? We, Rochester area, are running around $4.15. Just think, next year at this time we will be thinking $4 was a bargain, just like we are now saying that of $3. See you when you get up later this morning.

Down here in South Jersey Hazel paid $3.78 a gallon yesterday, still a bargin for us I guess.........

Our gas prices actually have gone back down a little. We were up to $4.09 here in Muskego and today we were back under $4.00, just barely though $3.99/gal but I'll take any lowering of prices they'll give us!

Starlight (greyhound) was sick for a few hours last night and poor EB had her outside to the bathroom every hour on the hour. Hopefully she's better now and whatever it was has worked through her system. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hopefully Starlight is doing better Our lab, Belle, has had a few nights like that where I've "slept" on the couch so I could keep jumping up quckly to let her out.
