I know Suz wants to get some info on the Canal to give him and we have the Discovery Channel's show on the Canal as well.

We'll probably have him watch that first, then show him the Magic going through it this month, and then tell him we're going on it.

Hopefully he'll be as excited as Suz and I were/are.

We just stayed at BWV last week for one night before the cruise. We also stayed in a Standard View room. We overlooked the "Clown Pool" with some trees in the way. All in all not a bad view. It was our first stay at BWV. We have been DVC Members since 1993 at OKW and more recently BCV.

I liked our 3rd Floor Room. Try to get near the elevators. There is no noise, and you have less walking to and from. Other than that, see what kind of view you can get of the pool.

We stayed at BWV for the first time last year and loved it. We had a boardwalk view, but at the very end by duelling pianos, above the DVC sales office. It wa lovely. We have a standard view room in September.

Karen - where were you staying in wales, we have been to conwy castle before,its really interesting. Did you go to llandudno? Great pics, the weather looked better than we have been having the last few days.

Near Prestatyn. Not much around but Ellis had fun.The weather was good to start with then windy and a littlerain later.

Maybe just a reflection of my almost 4 1/2 years on the DIS that has gotten me to the 10,000th post.

I remember coming on here green back in Feb 2004.
So no you all know why I don't have a life - I'm DISing all the time.

i just won a used dcl maintenance worker jumpsuit off ebay.
i'll be wearing it while cleaning the windows of the secret porthole cabins.

Yep! We stay there every chance we get. Ask for a room close to the elevators. Not sure if you have ever stayed at the Boardwalk but the building is really long and it can take forever to get to your room! We timed it one day and at a nice walk it took us 15 min to get back to the lobby!! We were down beside Atlantic Dance in a standard room. You also don't have a lot available for breakfast or a quick snack so we usually will go to the store and get bagels and things for the villa. Boardwalk bakery is nice but it gets crazy busy in the morning! The Epcot resorts are my favorite! Esp. at Christmas!!

Yep...that was us as well. But if you use the emergency exits instead of making your way back to the lobby each time, you get onto the boardwalk alot quicker. The restaurants in the swan and dolphin are supposed to be excellent.

O.K., so I'm at 9,999 posts on the DIS.

I have nothing creative or witty to say for #10,000. However, I feel like I can't post until I have something to like that to say.

Maybe I should just post a few times on another thread so it will just go unnoticed here.

Maybe I should just treat as every other post I do and make it just another normal post (kinda like my b-day is just another day).

Or maybe I should just state that it is my 10,000th post and have no fan-fare.
