Just got back from a date night

Went to see Indy and then dinner at Montana's, just finishing my dessert now in fact

The Wonder was our 2nd cruise. We sailed on the Magic from Barcelona last July 07/07/2007 for an 11-Night Med cruise. That was just amazing. We hadn't planned to cruise again for 2 or 3 years. We just got the bug a couple of months ago and signed on for the Wonder 3 Night. A great short getaway.

The cruise was great, but I noticed a difference in the personnel onboard. Does Disney start their new personnel on the Wonder and then the more seasoned folks go to the Magic? Everything was good, but the crew on the Magic seemed a few notches better. I got the sense that a lot of folks were just learning their job on the Wonder. Nobody did anything badly, just not as polished. I'm not sure if we even met our cabin host.

Being return cruisers, we had the benefit of knowing the ship. We knew exactly where we wanted to go and how to get there. Castaway Cay was a blast. We took our DD 8 & DD 10 up parasailing. I even took my video camera up with me.

Boy did we get jipped! We weren't even asked if we wanted our toes dipped, I would have LOVED that!!!

Well, Rob and I talked it over at dinner and he really wants to go to Vegas so I guess we will stick to plan A.

Oh well, Kira will be in great hands and we have web cams so we can see her and talk to her everyday!

Hello everyone,
I'm sitting here in bed wishing that it was just because I was being lazy. I woke up this morning and sat up to some excrutiating pain in my mid back. Said a not so nice word and woke Sean up. Had to go to the restroom and stood up and thought I was going to pass out. Sean has been through the same thing so he went into action, 800 mg motrin, ice and heat. He is however having fun by cracking jokes and making me laugh and it hurts to laugh. So here I am hoping that the inflamation will go down by tomorrow so I don't have to take a day off of work, doesn't look good after a holiday weekend.

Thanks Andy. I told Sean about Lina's mishap. It brought back some memories, you see I was at a band trip in Hawaii and was in the pool and jumped up and one of the "girls" jumped out. Embarrassing especially when the guy I had a crush on saw the whole thing. But it all worked out, I wound up marrying him after that.

Also dealing with a ST that was told to use the debit card I gave her for "emergencies only" during her trip. I guess $104 worth of t-shirts, tote bags and other misc. items are considered emergencies now-a-days.........

So, are you teying to tell me that totes and t shirtsd ARENT considered an emergency .... you're wrong Andy - ask any woman

ok, i'm floating around on diff cruise sites and was reading about the secrect
porthole cabins. now they said the pro's out weigh the con's but they had some scary cons."make sure you're decent at all times because maintenance workers could be right outside your window at any time.
also, adjoining rooms, you can hear pretty clearly whats going on in the next cabin.
i dont know what wild, weird stuff you guys have planned there in those secrect cabins, but count us out.

does make me want to look for a DCL maintenance workers outfit on ebay though.

The hardest thing I have been having with the one in August is not spending a lot of money. In fact I have found myself saying, save it for BOB.

There are over 70 cabins doing the EBPC DIS Tag...... needless to say I have been trying to come up with cheap ideas.

70! - how the heck are you packing all that lot???? - mine took up half a suitcase and there was only 20.

The ship or the hotel? I'll take either.

If it were warm in Cabo in early March (need to check the temps) I'd go there when DS has off that first weekend next year.

I'd prefer the ship, but cabo looks a nice option too

Who said that other people sent them to me.

Although the sent ones count towards the limit as well. I've sent out 100+, yet no one responds to me.

My baby just came to me and showed me she had just pulled her last baby tooth. I have tears in my eyes. How silly!!!!! I can't believe I am going to cry about a tooth. I'll never make it through graduation and forget about marraige!!!!!

Ellis has a loose tooth at the moment - I told him that if it came out on holiday the tooth fairy gives you double money - he was soooo disapointed that its still in

Jeff, did you and Suz finish the garden? We also worked outside today. Planted some new plants and cleaned out another bed.

Wow! I just thought I'd see if there was a thread for our cruise yet. I didn't expect it to be longer than the thread for the cruise I just got off! I'll never catch up.

We are fresh off the Wonder as of yesterday. We rebooked onboard for 10/24/2009. My DD 8 & DD 10 will celebrate their 10th and 12th birthdays respectively on the cruise. Same birthday, two years apart. We time things really well.

Our cast of characters includes the following:

OK panic attack!!!

there is 500ish days till the cruise.. what do I need to do now to make sure I am booked for all the things I want to do?? like stay at the same hotel...go to the holloween party at disney???.. I read on the bob board that tickets for the holloween party went on sale May 1st??? ack..am I too late.. I thought I was doing so well at being ahead of the game

I think we all feel like that, but theres so many people on here that will help that you'll be ready by crusie time.

As for the lotto - theres no need to win that, just ask Jeff for on of his money trees - he has a big orchard.

I think it may have been due to the weather Cass. We had to go up as tandem due to the wind that day to make us heavy enough. They probably stayed well clear of the boat due to the gusts.

Well, thats me all caught up. Not sure what we're doing today. The men are still snoring. I feel . My nose has turned inot a booger factory (TMI? )

I have already used my netipot this morning and geez it hurt - bought tears to my eyes.
