She slept for about 4.5 hours this afternoon. Right now she is packing her suitcase for her trip to Chicago. Her school choir and band have their Spring Concert tomorrow night and we have to take her suitcase with us and check it in so it can be loaded with all the others and placed on a truck that will take the suitcases to the airport Wednesday morning. I think the final count came in around 144 people going to Chicago.

Wow to have the energy of the young!!! I bet they will have a great time!!!

I think so as well, they will be running from 7am until 11pm every day. At least they arrive back at the school Sunday night around 10:30, and have Monday off for Memorial Day. I'm sure Lina will be doing a lot of sleeping on Monday. The band won't be so lucky as they have to march in the Memorial Day Parade, which happens to go right past our front door.

American Gladiators is coming on..adios for now.....:wave2:

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to pop in and tell you I posted the 90 day adventure from last night on my blog. Kind of the condensed version, but you will get the idea.
Well off to make dinner, ribs and whatever else I can dig up.:lmao:

Have a great time Andy.

Love the story Andy. Sean and I also met in High School, my jr his senior year. I remember the day, Sean doesn't:confused3 Of course I had a huge crush on him, then kind of like you boom:love: Cupid smacked him upside the head and well here we are over 20 years later.

Philip and I went to the same high school, too. He was three years older than me. He dated a friend of mine when he was in high school. Then when I was a senior, he was still coming to ballgames and we started talking. The rest is history.

Hahahaha..ok 2 more and that`s it :rolleyes1

I love this one because you can see how she walks all the time...on her tippy toes

Stopping in to say, Good Night All...........:wave2:

Andy, Have fun packing and safe travels.

Shelley, so glad Woody is fine!

Cass, keep the pics coming! I held our neighbor's newborn yesterday and couldn't believe it had been that long since mine were that little.

We're in the grind of closing out school and doing some paperwork to be ready for next year. We're busy busy busy and the kids want to be wild wild wild.

Oh Tanya you should see the thread on the cruise board where the mom is having issues with her son slacking off at school and they have a cruise coming up in 3 weeks, she was asking for advice. This one person posted to not to worry because kids, teachers, and school staff members all slack off this time of year. Well being in the mood I am, I posted my advice to the OP then posted to the responder that made the slacker comment that I needed to let my principal know that I was supposed to be slacking off vs all the end of the year/beginning of next year stuff......

By the way I feel your pain, it has been crazy these last couple of weeks and we still have 5 1/2 to go.

Andy,
Our trips in band are probably the things I most remember about high school. We went to Hawaii my Jr year, and marched down Main St at DL my senior year. I've never been to Chicago, but Sean has and he said it's a great city. Please tell Lina that I hope she has a Wonderfully Magical pixiedust:(and safe) time!(corny I know) You and Hazel too in FL.
