Any DVC Owners have extra points they'd like to sell?

Not sure what the going rate is. I don't know/trust the people on the rent/lease/sell thread to go over there.

Would only need 16, 42 or 58 depending on how I did it. I'm thinking more so 16 or 58.

PM me if interested.

With your money, stay at the Dolphin...:lmao:

Really great bargin for first class hotel...Just can't convince Di to go there again, she is hooked on AS...:thumbsup2

We stayed 4 times and love both..Pools are fab...Water Taxi and close walking if an exception...Also, seemed never have to wait for a bus, always was there when we walked out...:confused3

Walt :cool1:

Any particular reason Di wouldn't go back? Is just the AS's fit the bill for much less money?

What AS do you stay at? I was thinking Music if we go that route.

Question 1: Does the Dolphin have the same privileges as the other WDW resorts, mainly, EMHs?

Question 2: Would you stay at the Dolphin, the Hilton right next to Downtown Disney (which has EMH and busing) or AS-Music?

Well, maybe you should move near ME! I don't get SNOW IN APRIL!!!! :rotfl:

I've stayed at all 3 (The Swan not Dolphin) and I would say definitely stay at the Dolphin ::yes:: It is a gorgeous resort, they have great pools and can't beat the location. The rooms were great, the beds were luxurious

The All Stars would be my second choice, you still get that Disney feeling but it does feel cheaper and tackier. Great food court though :thumbsup2

I didn't like the Hilton. It didn't feel like Disney at all, I felt like everyone there, including staff, felt like they were better than us. Real hoity-toity if you ask me.

As for DVC points, most go for $10-12 points, depends on the person. I have rented several times and it always went well. If you can't find someone and still want to do this, I have someone I could recommend. I've rented points 3 different times from him and I trust him completely. I think he rents for $12 per point but to me it's worth it knowing that there won't be any problems at all.

Oh and I forgot to add, if you go with the All Stars, I would try Movies, it was definitely more Disney feeling than the Music. Never stayed at the sports but I walked around it and didn't like it.

Hopefully all our Bobers are safe & sound tonight!

Rob is watching the Star Wars Deal or No Deal, it's pretty funny, they have storm troopers instead of the skanky chicks :lmao: But the skanky chicks come back in the second half

Thanks for the input Cass.

I have to talk it all over with Suz, but it is sounding so far like the Dolphin is the way to go. Just not sure if it is worth the $ just to sleep there (we will be out most of the time). However, it is really only $63 more total for the 2 weekend nights (not including the parking fee), so that isn't all that bad.

The reason I would pick Music is because the rooms have been renovated. I don't think Movies has been done yet. They still have the "cheaper and tackier" look like you said. But to put my head on a pillow, I didn't know.

The pools look great at the Swolphin (love that Bendy), but it may be cold when we go (December).

Does anyone know if they'd do a luggage transfer to the Dolphin from Caribbean Beach? :confused3 If so, then I might be able to put the car off until Saturday (really only need it to get to the airport for a 8:00 a.m. flight - be at the airport by 6:00 a.m. ).

Yes, that's right, I forgot about the renovations!

Unless it's changed from 2003, they don't do the luggage transfer. We tried to get our luggage transferred to the Beach Club and they said they didn't do that. Maybe someone has a more recent experience for you though.

Here's my options:

1. AS-Music all 4 nts = $462

2. AS-Music 2 nts, then Dolphin 2 nts = $526

3. Caribbean Beach 2 nts, then AS-Music 2 nts = $582

4. Caribbean Beach 2 nts, then Dolphin 2 nts = $646

I didn't put the Hilton DtD in because I don't think Suz wants to stay there.

Until AAA changed their website, we were looking at $536 for all 4 nights at Caribbean Beach. This was an error on their site but it got changed this morning.

I personally would go for plan 1, but I am not one that likes to move hotels a lot.

Evening Becky.

Have you stayed at AS-Music at all?

I think the only Value resorts that have been renovated are Music and Sports. Not sure about Pop.

What's your thought of staying up near the airport on the last night?

Our flight out is at 8:00 a.m. We would be in the parks until late and then would drive (car in the lot already) to MCO, drop the car and then go to the airport.

The Hyatt is $170 (including tax).

Sheraton is $130 (inlcuding tax and has a 24-hour shuttle).
Fairfield is $120 (including tax, has shuttle, but not sure of the times).

Karen, I thought I was the only one who got the bad cart. Isn't funny how those carts can jump a curb and slam into the side of your car but can't roll over a bread crumb in the store? :lmao:

I had the crappy cart this morning and it made so much noise that I traded it with a stock boy who just emptied his out. I did it on the sly and the poor kid didn't know what hit him when he grabbed my old cart. :lmao: :lmao: I had to laugh so hard. I must have looked like some loon laughing to myself. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's been a bad day. We had to put Candy down this morning. :sad2:

My poochie, Candy.

Sadly missed by Tart and Underdog. :sad1:

I'm so sorry to hear that:sad1: - big hugs:hug:

7.30am here and Ellis and I have already had an arguement over his school homework:sad2: - I feel a :headache: coming on:sad2:

Maybe if I strap him to the chair and superglue a pencil in his hand he might actually write a sentance  ...........or even two!
