Any big plans for today Jeff?

We have some running around to do in a little bit. Hazel's Missionettes class had a fundraiser the other week and we have to go and pick up the itmes and deliver them.

I also need to get out in the yard and get the lawn cut, it's supposed to rain later, so if I don't get it done soon, it might have to wait until tomorrow......

Well Midwest, our hometown airline (who I think is having really bad financial problems), just screwed us on our flight to LA for the repo.

They didn't just change the time or our flight, they completely go rid of it. They put us on a connecting flight through Kansas City. Sorry, I want the non-stop that I purchased.

Now, instead of flying in the evening, we are now leaving at 8:50 a.m., arriving LA at 11:00 a.m.

Might actually do DL if they are open til midnight that day (figure it will be even quieter than Friday).

That stinks!!! Sorry to hear that.........:sad2:

Sitting watching the Weather Channel right now. It is suppose to be 25mph winds all day. Then a high of 43* tomorrow. Welcome to Wisconsin. :sad2:

So sorry to hear that Jeff! I had heard they were going to be getting rid of about 2% of their flights to help cut costs. I keep checking to make sure nothing has changed with our flights for Dec.

We were going to work in the yard and put the edging around the planter beds, but it is just too windy out today (and cold and overcast).

Tomorrow we have a chance for snow. :scared1:

I'm fine because I was going to take the whole day off that day - cut the grass, do other things around the house, etc. Suz has to take another day of vacation now. She'll just go in the Sunday that week and put some time in.

Actually might be more relaxing getting in earlier (by 12 hours).

I think we'll have to book our flights for the BOB as soon as they come out.

If we look at a group rate, we may want to work with AirTran. Better chance of surviving.

If we charter, not sure which airline is best now days.

I wanted to get some yard work done too and start taking down Rach's swingset but not only is it too cold but after all the rain we just got it's very wet out there too. I guess it's laundry and cleaning inside for me this weekend :headache:

Hi all. I've been lurking....It's been a good read but now I've got to get to bed. Have a great weekend!

Hey all you Virginia BoBers--We're headed to King's Dominion Sunday. Mini-meet?

We are heading in the opposite direction. Down to Busch Gardens for us! Have fun!!
