Yes congrats to Shel :yay: and to the Bobalosers :woohoo:

Although I put my scale away for awhile, I had to get weighed for my physical yesterday and although it might be off because it's a different scale, I was down 3 pounds :thumbsup2

Congrat's to you my friend!! 3 down!! :cheer2:

Yup, I'm the storm girl :cool1: We are still stuck with snow, no storms for me yet  We usually only get good storms in August. I need to move somewhere where it rains more!
::yes::

Which is a great idea but, I am picturing bringing home 19 xmas tree ornaments  That would still take up half a suitcase :scared: :lmao:

Yeah, I added that...I have their info here for the Bobers site but not able to add it yet :sad2:

Off to workout on my elliptical, have a great day everyone :wave2:

Thanks for adding Roger, he is not much of a chatter only after his beer tasting or taquilla tasting.:)

Cass if you like thunderstorms come on down. Usually they slow down in the winter but we have had a few of them also. In the summer we get them almost every afternoon.

Hi everyone. We had our first kickball game last night and won 10-0!! :cool1: I am a little sore today but not too bad. We went out to celebrate and didn't get home until 1am. :faint: I am so tired. 4 hrs of sleep is just not fun anymore.

Anyone got big plans for this weekend? We are going to a wine festival tomorrow and Busch Gardens on Sunday if it doesn't rain.

We've got friends coming round on Saturday and we've got to pack on Sunday.

Who will let the new airline luggage restrictions decide whether they participate in Pirate Night attire or even Formal Night attire?
So far, Midwest or Air Tran have not implemented the stricter restrictions but I’m sure by next year they will follow suit. If they do, we will not bring along the heavy Pirate costumes. What about those of you who bring gowns and tuxes?

If we can get them, we'll travel PE with frequent virgin flyer miles and we get a good luggage allowance.

Hiya Cath:goodvibes

Neil took me to lunch - had a naughty baguette and chips:rolleyes1

He's been busy changing all the locking window handles all over the house today.... gotta keep him busy;)

I've done my pilates and watched tv:rolleyes1

Have you booked any flights yet for next Oct?
We've got quotes from Virgin and TCD but not booked anything yet. They seem much more expensive next year compared to this year.

Soundsl like a good day, better than going to work. you keep that man busy:rotfl2:
Havent priced up any flights yet, sean had a quick look but said he couldnt get a quote past march!

we are hoping to go in PE too. We came back in it last time and it was great and the luggage allowance was better.
we are buying everything with our virgin credit card to get the air mile points so that may get up a couple of cheaper upgrades.
what is frequent flyer miles, is it when you get a discount ?
Have you flown the TCD?

I don't know if I could talk Rob into NOT bringing his pirate costume :lmao: He likes to dress up, he's a big kid ::yes:: This time though, I will just wear a pirate t-shirt and will be leaving my costume at home. Since this is our 4th cruise, I think we may dress down a bit this time. Just nice pants and a shirt/tie for Rob and a nice blouse/pants for me for Formal and semi-formal nights.

We might also want to re-think our DIS tag. I'm thinking maybe we could change the rules to keep our gifts fitting inside of a card??? Maybe something home-made or something creative instead of buying stuff??? I would really love to participate in the tag game but I just can't pack all that stuff again.

What do you guys think?

Your tag gifts were wonderful...not surprised you had a lot of luggage. I think that it won't be long until Disney follow Carnival's lead and scrap formal wear and allow smart shorts in their dining rooms.

Good for you Cass.

Not if we stick to discs.

Every time you fly, you earn miles...the same as the air mile points on your CC. You need to join the flying club to earn them.

We haven't flown TCD - don't they fly to Sandford?

Not long now Heather, are you excited.
Is this the cruise that Chris is going on too?

Getting there...I have work still next week and election duty on Thursday. Yes, we're hoping to meet up with Chris for a drink on the ship...if we can find him...its such a huge ship.

What is PE and TCD?

Hi Joannel
Pe means premium economy on virgin airlines, its an upgrade, better than standard but not as posh as first class.
TCD is an airline called Travel City Direct which flies to Orlando.
Wow you get up early on the ship for your morning walk, will have to be very strong willed to get myself out of bed at the time of the morning,

Nancy I'm behind in reading my allears newsletters and was catching up while eating lunch and I just read this in last weeks newsletter about Air Tran:
AirTran Airways will begin charging passengers $10 for a second checked bag effective May 15, 2008. For each fare-paying customer, the airline will allow one checked piece free of charge, with size and weight limitations. The excess baggage charge, for other than sporting equipment, will be $50 for each piece after the first two bags. Additional charges are applicable for bags exceeding the weight and size limits. Oversize baggage, with dimensions from 62 to 80 inches, will be accepted subject to an oversize baggage charge. Baggage with dimensions from 62 to 70 inches will be subject to a fee of $50. Baggage with dimensions from 71 to 80 inches will be subject to a fee of $65. Baggage over 80 inches in dimension (with the exception of some sporting equipment) will not be accepted.
