Nancy, welcome back. So glad all went well!

Andy, happy belated birthday!

Mike, glad to hear you're okay!

Robin, good luck on the interviews!

I've been lounging at home today feeling rotten--I will clean a little then lay down a while. I must have a virus of some sort. Yuck!

I have lots to do tomorrow so I hope this goes away!

thats the class robin took yesterday!!!
i was thinking it was salsa, but it was zumba. she said she's really sore today.
:lmao: worked a lot of muscles.:thumbsup2

I'm kind of looking forward to it - the class description says it's a mix of latin and international dance music - which I really like. I learned the salsa and merengue when I lived in Colombia (y'know, that place where Jeff thinks he's gonna bite the dust) and it's so fun to dance to.

Robin's got a lot of fun classes at her gym....she and I can totally rock the dance floor next cruise!

Actually, she's also going to teach a strip class too. She had a little zip jacket on and said we needed to get something similar for the class. :confused3 :rotfl2:

nancy says she will if everyone else does. lol

tanya!!!! you have to hurry and post one more time. cant leave your post number at #666. :scared:

i've got to do 2 bathrooms and kitchen to tile. i figured to start with the smaller bathroom first and if all goes well i can work on the other 2 rooms.

That is what we are doing. Starting with the smallest bath (5.5 x 7) and if it goes good, move on to another project.

Our master bath will be tricky because of a lot of angle cuts.

Kitchen is already hardwood floors, so just a backsplash.

I guess we could move to DS's bath since that is about the same floor size (slightly bigger) than the first floor bath.

oh i'm wayyyy down on the list.. after....
candyman, cass's rob, paiges rob, tuna man, andy, walt, mark, al, pete,
woody, jason, nuclear scott, rick, neil, sean, steve, lynns chris (heck, even new groom tony is ahead of me):rotfl2:
not sure but i may be ahead of afeg and jeff though.:rotfl2: :lmao:

Hey, wait a second, you talk to Suz sometime, I do a lot for her.

She'll admit she has a good husband. :rolleyes1 Just not sure if he lives in our house. :rotfl2:

If I remember from some of B's reports, she really likes CdF. We went there on free DDP, but we would never go there if we were paying. Didn't care for it.

We are on the dining plan too. What didn't you like about it?
I was looking for somewhere with a bigger menu. Can't get into Le Cellier and we are already going to Coral Reef. With my mom being on a restricted diet we can't do Mexico or Morocco. May just bag it all and go over to Spoodles.:confused3

We personally thought the services wasn't the best (not sure if it was because we were on the DDP) and we didn't think the food was all that great. The portions were very small too.

Are you looking specifically in Epcot? How big of a menu are you looking for and what types of food do you need on it?

BTW, we did Moroco on our honeymoon back in 1993 and loved it. We hit Mexico last Labor Day Weekend when we were on the DDP. It is overpriced for what you get, in my mind, but we made out good based on that since we were on DDP.

As for R&C, I'm not a big fan of that menu, but Suz wants to try it sometime. Other than that, we haven't done much in Epcot. We were going to do the Land last time, but chose not to. We also had the one in Coronado booked (we were staying there) but chose not to go back for that one either. We will try that one sometime.

Where are you staying this trip?

This is for our Fall trip. We are staying at SSR and I have all our ADRs made but still have one left. The Epcot area would be preferred. We have eaten at almost every restaurant on property but I always like to get other peoples opinions. We will eat pretty much anything but since my folks are going it is making it tough.
We are not making ADRs for our June trip. We are not even doing the dining plan. Just winging it. We will use our DDE card mostly.

You don't want any of the DtD Westside restaurants?

If you are set on it being Epcot, then I guess you don't have much else there if the Coral Reef and Canada are full (unless you change your times slightly).

What about one of the ones in Japan?

The next best thing would be to go to Yacht/Beach Club or Boardwalk. They are right there.

So I'm looking at putting something together for right before Xmas. I can get airfare for $214 (plus I can use one NWA ticket I have sitting around on MW - so only two airfare I have to pay for) and a moderate for $119.20 + tax (if I book directly with AAA, they don't do the rate change on the weekend).

That would be $975 before food, rental car and MVMCP tix.

If I go value, they are only $65.60 per night and I could bring the cost down to $725, a savings of $250. I could do the whole trip for right around $1,000.

Now we just have to see if Suz can get off work and if there are any issues with DS missing 2 1/2 days right before Xmas break.

We'd have to fly at 2:45 p.m. on the 17th, and back home on an 8:00 a.m. flight on Sunday, but it would get us to WDW at Xmas time and when Karen, Neil and Ellis will be there.

Guess Suz and I need to talk through this one.

Friday: Manicures, Pedicures, and rehersal went off without a hitch. We had pizza ( at DiMarini's) and all the boys came back to our house. They played poker and then we Wii'd until 2:00 am. I couldn't fall asleep until about 3:30 (no surpirse there huh?)

Saturday: Up by 6:00 (just me, again...no surprise) and made the boys a breakfast of Chocolate Chip pancakes, biscuits and cinnamon rolls.
Kristin came back from her $85.00 hair appointment and ripped it all out because she hated it (again, no surprise :rotfl2: ). Kristin and I left for the church to be there by noon leaving strict instructions for the boys to follow right behind. Hmmmm, they actually showed up 45 minutes later!! No surprises there. :lmao:

As soon as we saw Stacy the tears started to flow. What a beautiful bride inside and out! She was the Perfect Bride! Honestly! Cool as a cucumber and a pleasure to be with. :lovestruc

I made it up the aisle without crying and so did Stacy's mom. We refused to look at each other for fear of losing it. As soon as Tony saw Stacy, I looked at him and he said "Oh man, I think I'm gonna cry". He held it in until she got up to him and just one little tear fell.

The service went fine until the entire wedding party started laughing. Seems like Jesse was singing one of the hymms and was a little louder than he thought and way off key. Even the Pastor was laughing.:rotfl2:

After the vows and the introductions as the new Mr and Mrs. G-----, Tony and Stacy did a little secret handshake and I gave Tony a "high five" on the way back down the aisle.

What seemed like thousands of pictures later, we were finally at the recption hall. Great food, lots of fun, and just a few drunks. The bridal dance was hilarious and I wish we had it on video. I know someone does, but not me.

Jesse gave such a wonderful speech/toast and the poor kid lost it at the end. He had the entire place laughing at one point and bawling at the next. :grouphug: ( I just love that kid!).

Sunday: An impromptu "gift opening" party at our house had Tuna and I scurrying to Sam's to plan a luncheon for 15 people. That turned out great too!

I'm taking my camera to Walgreens to get prints and will try to add a few pictures here, but the photographer will have all the pictures up by this week and I'll post the link somewhere for all of you to see. Warning....there are some absolutely horrid picks of me "losing it" too.

It was a wonderful weekend and we really did have the time of our lives!

Thanks for all the "well-wishes", the prayers for great weather (they worked!) and for not T-Ping our house. :rotfl2:

Nancy, so glad that it all worked out well!
Can't wait to see the photos:yay:

Andy, where are you? You're usually on after work.

Everything O.K.?

Just had a really bad day with these knees.:headache: By lunchtime, I was ready to take a shotgun and blow these knees off my legs. Right now, I have the heating pad wrapped around my knees because they are so stiff.

BTW, my mom called a little bit ago to wish me a Happy Be-lated Birthday. She said she had just realized today was April 21st. When we were talking last night, she didn't even think about it being April 20th...........:rotfl:

Probably won't be on much tonight, if at all, after this post. I took some of my pain meds a short time ago, and they are kicking in. I will be in laa-laa land very soon.
