So I got a new laptop for work and I was getting it set up on my home network.

When I first logged on to it, the Administrator (our VP-IT) puts Hello Kitty Tea Party wallpaper on my computer for me. :lmao:

I just busted out laughing when I saw it.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So Andy, when are you heading down to FL? Is it 3 weeks from now?

5 days in the sun, correct?

So, we running this thing to 3,000 today? :confused3

I think Sneaky #3 (a.k.a. Karen) is on right now. We can let her have it. :thumbsup2

I didn't see that, but now I do.

Were you just going to your place or will you make a stop in WDW?

Most likely will just spend the few days at our place. We won't get our DVC points until 6-1-08. We should have closing on our DVC within the next 2-3 weeks, then we have to wait until the points get into the system.

I just noticed I surpassed your highest post count on a "limited" BOB thread (623).

However, I'm still about 235 posts behind you in overall BOB posts when you combine all 5 threads.

Guess I'll have to stop taking time away from the thread.

Weren't you planning on using the points in September?

I was wondering if you'd just drive down to get a Disney "fix" while you're there.

Do you have old passes to use, or would you get an annual pass for you and Hazel to use in May and then in September if you went?

So what does the DIS and holding your breath have in common?

40 seconds is a looooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggg time.

Sorry, got sidetracked by a certain ST and lost my train of thought with my last post.

Not planning on going down to WDW on this trip. We "might" take a long 90 minute drive to the port area on Thursday, have dinner at Grills and watch the Wonder sailaway.

The last passes that we had, had one day left on each of them, we gave them to a DIS'er that was sailing with us in August 2006 so they could visit the MK the day before the cruise.

We recently found out that the class Angelina is signed up to start in September is still in need of a few more students before it can begin. The class has to have at least 8 students, as of last week it was only Angelina and one other girl that have their deposits in. It's possible the class might start a little later than we first thought.

Good morning everyone!

Today will be a work around the house day...We're finally getting the rest of our stuff put back in the storeroom in the basement - I didn't want to do it too soon in case additional waterproofing needed to be done.

Still trying to decide what to make for dinner...either meatloaf muffins and mashed potatoes or baked lemon chicken...hmmm...

Looks like I have a few pages to catch up on...I'll be back!

Baked lemon chicken sound good. We had roast turkey and veg. Typical Sunday roast. Good new guys...I've lost 1lb since I last weighed in.:cool1: Need to keep watching what I eat next week, before the food feast to everything Green starts on Friday.

Hey Chris...did you see The One Show on Friday?...they had a whole section about the new ship.

HELP

Repo car rental question:

Now that the flights have changed for our trip to LA, I need to make adjustments to my rental car.

Since we will land at 11:00, we'll need to pick it up by noon. Therefore, it will have to be returned by noon on the day we drop it. Suz does NOT want to drop it the morning of the cruise.

My options:

Budget: 2 days drop at Long Beach near the water, can take train 16 blocks to hotel. Upside: cheapest rental. Downside: need to have car back by noon. Cost: $96

Alamo: 1 day rental from LAX drop at Downtown Disney. A second 1-Day rental on Saturday morning, pick up at DtD or So. Harbor and then take to Long Beach. Upside: Alamo office opens at 7:00 a.m. at DtD and I can just drive there and then walk to parks. Downside: Long Beach drop is at the airport and will have to take a cab to hotel (i.e. Extra Money). Cost: $102 combined

Budget: 3 day rental with drop in Long Beach near the water. Same train back to the hotel. Upside: have the card for more time on Saturday and can return it on Sunday if need be. Downside: If Saturday return, office closes at 4:00, so only 4 extra hours. Cost: $139
