Suz is allergic to cats and DS is afraid of dogs.

Ok, so my geek husband is watching all the pre-flight online stuff for the shuttle launch tonight, so I am perusing photos and decided to share some with you.

What can I say, I am a scrapbooker, avid photographer and I take a lot of photos and love to share

Ok, let's start small....

Here is a pic of Lilo and Goof...I've never seen them do this so I thought it was funny!

And then, a few days laters, in the same spot...check this out...trust me when I say they never do this! Lilo and Stitch

No wonder we got them...

Can you tell which one is Lilo (hyperactive, playful one) and which one is Stitch (lazy butt!) LOL!

I KNEW I should never have gone to that kennel!!! Cuteness will get you every time!!

Ok, now I wanna share some funny Slinky pics.

We adopted Slinky in 2002 when he was one year old. He came from an abusive home and I felt bad for him. Unfortunately we had to get rid of him last year because he decided to use everything as his litterbox except his litterbox. We tried different medications and many different techniques to no avail. He's living the high life on a farm in Rimbey Alberta right now. He has what he's always wanted, FREEDOM!! So he's happy and things turned out for him.

I've had cats all my life (the first five my parents let me name...all 5 of them Mickey! ) but never have I seen a cat with more personality than Slinky. He was sooo funny! He found the funniest spots and here's but a few of them...I have more but can't find them.

My desk chair...the blanket is there because he shed like crazy and it was supposed to prevent any Slinky hairs getting all over my chair!

He claimed the top of the fridge right away!

As well as the little niche above the fireplace...

The microwave..

and my drawer for my dishcloths...which he opened all by himself!

He also claimed the spot under my lamp above my desk..

Apparently, he needed to make a call on Rob's cell..

He loved bags of all kinds...

Let's see...there were garbage cans...

Sinks..

Folders...

The top of my shower (didn't think he could do that one!)

Chairs that were on top of counters while I cleaned my floor...

Then we moved to a new house...and he found new spots.


The top of the fridge was first of course...

Then there were the cupboards above the fridge!

NEAR the sink...

Laundry baskets..

Must have been expecting a fax...

And then Lilo and Stitch came along and he found even more spots...

In their bed...

On their kennels..

That's all I could find but there are more!

We miss you Slink, you sure made our lives interesting

He liked newspapers...

Shelves...

The TOP of the garbage (we had to buy the top because he would knock over the garbage every night but then he figured out how to pry open the top and take it off! He was a smart little $hit!)

Stools...

He loved my desk..

FULL laundry baskets!!

And cupboards...

But his fave was right next to flowers...

Can you see him peeking and licking his chops?? LOL!

It's a pretty fundamental rule of history that the King Turd of Diaper Hill doesn't stay so for long ... there's always another little crapper waiting to take you down.

Poor Cabo,give the lad a break he made a mistake...Can't blame the dog for wanting to improve his intelligence...

Good morning all!

Great pics Cass. I had to laugh at a lot of those pics. Did you make it a habit of feeding your kitty on top of the fridge? Perhaps if you moved his food bowls and his bed to the floor??

And, I spy, with my one little eye, quite a few Minnies in your house. Hmmmmmm, maybe you really do like her?

My fav had to be the one where he snuggled up to your Mickey pencil holder. Smart cat! BTW...I have that same pencil holder (kind of). Mine has Mickey leaning on the cup with his feet crossed in front of him.

We had a cat many times while growing up too. Let's see, I had a Mitzy, Jessica, Mitzy (again), Piwackett, Coco, Ping Pong, So-what, and my longest lasting one was Kitty. I had her for 17 years! We had one dog who's name was Leepy (Lepcheun) ...a weiner dog. Then after Chuck and I got married we had a miniature schnauzer named Kipper and then finally Cabo San Lucas.

Gotta love those animals.

I had to go to the pet store to get a light for DS's fish tank and they had the cutest puppy there. Not sure what brand it was (see I'm not a dog person, I'm sure one of you would refer to it as breed ), but the guy said it gets to 80 pounds.

I have no idea how big that would be, but DS is only 52#, so it would be bigger than him.

It was darn cute though. Whitish. Can't remember if it had any other colors - I thought it did. Good thing Suz wasn't with me.

Good afternoon everybody

Been busy this morning - started making my sofa cushions - I'm not the fastet at thaat kind of stuff

I might just do buttons too Shelley. Probably much cheaper than shirts....but now that Cass put the images on the colored backgrounds, I'm liking the purple shirt idea too.

Buttons - where do you get blank buttons? and how do you get the image onto them?

You're not far wrong Jeff - the forecast is even worse fo my area tonight. Neil keeps ringing up and asking about the house ridge tiles on the roof - yeah right! - I'm fine thanks Neil ...you just stay in your nice cosy hotel and bar - I'll look after the house, child etc...as long as your having fun dear

Day 2 of diet is going well - just to let you all know - I put on every pound that I'd lost so I'm starting over

I have til late july to squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze into a swimsuit and it aint gonna be pretty - it might help clear a big spot on the beach in Greece though

I did lots of exercise yesterday and then walked the long way to Ellis' school last night and back. I'm off on the treadmill now for an hour.

According to Dr Phil I shouldnt rely on willpower - I'll fail (gee - really!). I need to put into place alternative things so I cant eat at my week moments of the day - mine is 8.30pm once Ellis is in bed - (otherwise known as cheese and wine time ).

Not any more

Have a good day people. If you see a mad aussie fly past you tonight it'll be me blowing across the atlantic so catch hold if you can. They reckon my area could reach up to 80mph tonight
