Looks like the fat bloke is getting his Gallons and his Litres mixed up Petrol price today is $8 a gallon...

BTW...I don't own a car anymore cos it's far cheaper to hire one when i need one rather than have it stood on the drive for weeks at a time....And car hire can be set against your tax bill...




No it's not the Hotel price i have a problem with it's the 4 day hopper pass that comes with my booking that i simply won't use,$950 for DL for one day is steep even by Mickey standards...

Have you not got any unused wdw tickets? Apparently according to the D.side you can use then at DL...but not the other way round.

I know we're cutting corners because of higher prices on gas (and everything else)....

I don't understand what causes the prices to go so high though?

I'm no expert but a lot of this is plain old supply and demand. China and India are huge oil users today compared with 10 years ago.

Throw in political instability in many of the countries that oil is extracted from along with limited US refining capacity and OPEC's stance that they will not increase production (and why should they ... they're just being good capitalists) and you have the current situation.

Then consider how badly the dollar is faring against other currencies ...

I don't blame them - I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner.

I'm just wondering how much longer OPEC is going to keeping listing oil in dollars - they could really stick it to the US if they switched to Euros.

3.52 here in CA, and that is the cheaper stations, just to let all of you know back east we are looking at possibly $4 a gallon come summer if not sooner. If it wasn't for our pop up trailer I would be looking at cars instead of SUV's come November.

The station we generally use had regular unleaded for $2.93 a gallon this morning when I rode past.

Good thing I bought a new card reader for my digital camera as my old one ate up all my shower pics!! Un-freakin-believable...I actually watched all the pictures delete themselves, one-by-one!!

Here is the only one I thought was good enough to steal off of Kristin's camera. Stacy's mom should have more pictures which I'll get later.

This is a picture of one of the games we played called: "Here comes the bride". Groups of 6 guests pick a card that has a dress part listed on it. Using tissue paper, they make that part of the dress.

Yeah, like ALL the females in this house, she is quite spoiled. Stefani was named after the singer, Gwen Stefani.

Stacy did have a good time. Lots of great gifts for them too. The shower was held at a clubhouse in an apartment complex where the maid of honor's boyfriend lives.

Actually I thought the same thing when I took that photo! I didn't put them there either...they were sitting that way so I snapped a picture!

When they were kittens we had a hard time telling them apart - we called them our twin kitties. Elminster has a small white patch on his throat that distinguished him. Now, we can tell by their faces and the texture of their fur (Mara's fur is silkier).
