I think you girls can relate...

I made a hair appt. The earliest I could get in was Mar. 29. Yesterday the hairdresser called and said she had a cancellation this morning at 9. Never pass on an earlier appt. Right Girls?
Boy did I jump on that. It only a few miles down the road.

So I recruited Mike to go with me. You never know, I might need him to push the car.

On the way home, I almost kelled Mike.

We stopped at the Wendy's drive thru for some lunch. The person in front of us got stuck...so I told Mike, "Why don't you jump out and give her a little push?" That was a mistake.. She wasn't budging, so 2 employees came out and helped get her out.

When Mike got back in the car, he didn't look very good and was very winded. I forgot that since he's been using his pacemaker more, he has trouble doing that kind of thing.

OMG!! I thought I killed him. He was ok after a few minutes...but he didn't look very good.

Hope Mike is OK today. I always forget about Rick's heart op...until he's lifted something heavy and then its......you shouldn't have lifted that!

A Fox News reporter on the 10 o'clock news was just reporting live from the front of the high school. The auditorium roof was blown off and is laying on top of the band room roof. Looks very bad on the TV, I'll have to try and check it out tomorrow morning one it gets light outside.

Good job it was at the weekend and no one was in the building.

OK, I'm heading off to bed, with the time change, our clocks are now reading 12:15am tomorrow morning, instead of 11:15pm tonight..................

We've got another couple of weeks before we turn our clocks back. Then we're in British SUMMER Time

Last night Rick and I went to the regular fish and chip supper and quiz evening. Our team came 4th.

Question for you US Bobbers...where is Orange County? I said Florida but the answer was California.

Becky/Jeff/Chris at all...you fancy making up a team for some of the trivia sessions on the repo?

Thanks for asking kids. MG and Tuna had a good old can of whoopa$$ opened up on them with food poisoning!! First Chuck Monday-Wednesday, Then me Thursday-Saturday. The only good thing out of all of it was the Bobaloser table. Chuck lost 5 and I lost 8!! I'm sure it's all water and as soon as we eat again, it'll show up, but it almost made the pain worth it!!

Hi Olivia--if you are asking about Sean who everyone was saying Happy Birthday to, that is Becky's(minnieandmickey) husband who lives in California.

I read back only on Saturday's posts, so Happy Birthday Sean!!

Good thing I bought a new card reader for my digital camera as my old one ate up all my shower pics!! Un-freakin-believable...I actually watched all the pictures delete themselves, one-by-one!!

Here is the only one I thought was good enough to steal off of Kristin's camera. Stacy's mom should have more pictures which I'll get later.

This is a picture of one of the games we played called: "Here comes the bride". Groups of 6 guests pick a card that has a dress part listed on it. Using tissue paper, they make that part of the dress.

Here are the grand results!!

Karen, we've done the melting pot a couple of times and it's very good. A little pricey but part of the expense is the experience. I'd say you should allow about 2 hours minimum for dinner.

We tried to talk my parents into going and Grimace's response was, "Why should I pay someone else so that I can cook my own food?"

Love the photo - I was only just looking at that leaflet in the last few days as I've finished scraping my Oct 07 album and was putting a few momentos away in the memory box that we got given by our TA.

Love it...not sure about the leggings though and the bra will poke someone's eye out!
