Good morning people - we survived the storms!

They were real bad about 2-3am... could hear things rolling round outside and the rain was awful, but its all stopped now. Havent ventured outside yet and havent seen the news to see how bad it got but.....WE'RE ALIVE:lmao:

Hi Karen--so happy to hear you are safe and sound this morning..........:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Well, it's time to head off to work, having some morning rain showers here, but they shouldn't last long. The good thing about today.........it's Payday......:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Bad mojo with PC this morning, problems with firewalls am now being offered "services" about every 15 seconds..:scared1:

ps...Bloke the other side of the street is out looking for his lost shed...Is wife is sat in our kitchen :rotfl: :rotfl: because he's lost his "classic" collection of men's reading material....:rolleyes1

I may go off at any moment because am getting very close to chucking this PC STRAIGHT THROUGH THE BLOODY WINDOW :sad2:

Good to hear you survived and everything is all right.

Nice area, but I don't think I'd ever live in CA. Prices too high for housing and the taxes are awful. Plus, all the stupid laws get past first in CA and the rest of the country then suffers.

Not for me.

I'll take FL or even TX, both with no income tax. NV is the same, but I think their schools aint gooder then the other states. :rotfl:

:lmao: I'm with you! And trying to get around was murder!!! I guess I am too southern (aka too lazy and slow) to keep up with everyone. And the price of everything!!! :scared1: I just could not get over it!

I haven't decided where I'd rather live yet...which is why I'm still here in WI! :lmao:

I think I'd get too stressed out if I lived in too big a city (I don't even really like driving in Milwaukee or Minneapolis). I do really like the Pacific Northwest - my mom's family is from Bellingham (north of Seattle about an hour) and the scenery is breathtaking....

Visited our company offices in Anacortes a couple of times. Agree with you, also there are tulip fields which are fabalous....:thumbsup2

Di and I hiked half way up Mount Rainer, what a blast......:cool1:

Karen and Chris I am so glad that you both are ok.

That poor man and his shed. He must just be miserable. :rotfl: That is what he gets.

Hi Shelley  I'm here, well I'm here off and on, I'm trying to get caught up here from the last few days between getting caught up on some work arond the house. The last 2 days were really busy at work and in the evenings I didn't have much energy for anything but watching some TV.

There's an outlet mall in WI Dells that I went to this weekend...didn't stay long but I did manage to get to the Disney Outley and got DS 3 t-shirts for $5 each, and some Lion King little toys (originally $12.50 - I paid $5). I also got a skirt at Coldwater Creek outlet for $10 (originally $89.00) and some summer shoes from Easy Spirit for $10 (from 49.99)!

Yeay Woody - good luck on the new job!

We love the outlet mall in the Dells! They are some great stores in there :thumbsup2

I just heard on the noon news that it could take the body weeks to get use to the Spring Forward time change. I guess I shouldn't complain that it only takes me a few days to get used to it.

It was also stated that the body adjusts quicker to when the clocks are moved back in the fall, because we gain an hour of sleep.

Oh my, time for me to get back to work already..........:wave2:

That help's explain why I was so tired the last few nights! It wasn't just the busy days at work

Ok, while Kira is snacking, I put the round logo on different colour backgrounds so you could see what it would look like.

logo-black.jpg
logo-darkblue.jpg

logo-green.jpg
logo-lightblue.jpg

logo-orange.jpg
logo-purple.jpg

logo-red.jpg
logo-white-1.jpg

logo-yellow.jpg

Actually, I do too! It would look better with a darker colored ring around the logo though! I might make one of those later!

Thanks Cass! That helps a bunch!

I really like the purple, but I don't think the guys will go for it. I think I'm going to end up doing white after all. I think it will look best with the characters I plan to add on the front. Maybe I'll make black t-shirts with the Mickey Pumpkin for MNSSHP instead...

Ok, next question - are people thinking of doing the round logo or rectangular logo?

Yes, we need to decide this now....I don't have other cruises to plan for! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Do botrh - one white and one black - one for getting opnboard and one for our group photo meet. I then used mine to swim in cos my shoulders were burnt.

Me likey the purple, red and black and white one

Thanks for doing that Cass!

I like the black, the purple and the yellow. Rachel and I had yellow shirts last time and they worked out fine. I did have to ask Al last time what color would be OK for his shirt, I'm not sure he'd go for the purple either but it is a dark purple so he might.

I think we might do 2 shirts for Rach, Courtney and I. Al will only want one. Last cruise Rach had 2 and did like Karen, ended up wearing one of them while swimming to protect from the sun
