Looks like I have some catching up to do, but first an announcement..............


......We received our DVC closing papers this afternoon and our paperwork was faxed back and the needed funds were wired to the closing company. Now we just have to wait to hear that our closing has been finalized!!!

Sounds like our weather is better here than with you Andy - thats makes a change.

Maybe some of this weather is headed your way, I saw the Nor'easter is supposed to head out to sea. Let me know if your weather turns really bad over the next day or so. Still raining very hard here at the moment, and has been all day.........

we bottom dwellers who arnt taking any trips have to live our lives through you guys. (and thats ok)

It is sunny here, just a little cool (about 10-15 degrees below the normal highs).

Arrived home a little bit ago soaked to the bone, and that's with rain gear on. Put on my dry jammies, now just waiting for dinner to be finished!!!

according to rob... robin uses her personalities to distract people while i steal the signs.
(guess i wont be getting too many more signs)
the garage walls are pretty full anyway.

I guess I don't know how to use what personality I do have the right way to distract anybody. Maybe your meighbor can help me out.

So in my original email to the Radisson, before Cheryl kindly took over the planning of our group rate at the Radisson, I asked about getting an early shuttle and here's their response...


Generally the Port will not allow us out there too early. Sometimes Wedding
Groups have early arrival passes that gets our Shuttles in early. I think we
can arrange that if it's OK with the Ship / Port. That would be up to you to
handle through the ship. Just let us know.
Please let me know if you would like to block the rooms and I'll write up a
contract.

I sent this to Cheryl, so maybe she can contact DCL about getting that pass, otherwise we are on our own.


For those of you who got there early last cruise, what time did it open up?? I have read some reports that it often doesn't open until 10. I know in 2005, we took the 10 AM shuttle from the Radisson and they wouldn't let us drop off our bags until 10:30 so we did a few loops around the port area and stopped for some pics of the Magic.

What 's your experience???

We usually get to the terminal between 10 and 10:15 and go right in after the porters take our luggage.

Remember my wonderful books I had for vacation. I had plans on doing scavenger hunts and looking for hidden mickey's. I now realize Scott and I won't get to put those books to use for another goo 16 years!!!!!!! We never even had time to open them at the parks. Alex and I tried to do one hunt at Epcot and quit after 1 question because of the little ones. Oh well, one day I will be able to do that kind of stuff and in the mean time I will enjoy my carzy little ones.

well it WAS a cold long winter in canada, so i'm guessing by sept or oct
there will be a HUGE demand for babycakes.(if you get my drift)

Ok, the red arrow is where I am thinking....I believe that is where M & R parked, yes???

I think Grills is further down closer to that blue roof building, is that correct???

I'm rather sure Grills is the building on the far right with the light blue roof. I think my mom and I were closer to Grills than where you have the red arrow pointing. I just don't remember us being that far away from Grills. But it was two years ago, and 5 in the morning.

Yeah, I thought Grills was the light blue roof too. Google map puts it more left but I think that`s wrong!

I think the park you are talking about is the Freddie Patrick Park and that looks easy to get to with lots of parking.
