Andy hang in there. My two boys have also sent me to tears at times, but eventually they become human again. They are just upset and don't realize what they are saying. When things calm down explain to her how much ut hurt. I think they get it eventually.

Oh, she knew before she went to bed last night. In fact, she put herself in bed at 8:30, the remark was made around 8:00. The ST got up this morning all happy go lucky as if she didn't have a care in the world. When I took her to school this morning, as she got out of the car she said, "Love you, have a nice day." Then she kissed my on the cheek and off she went. KIDS!!!

She probably doesn't even know what she said Andy. Kids are like that. Then when they realized how hurt you were, they play it off like it was nothing. Will these hugs help a little?

That family is definately in my prayers today.

The officer's Funeral Mass is starting in a few minutes and our local news coverage is coming live from the church, so very sad indeed........

The officer left behind a wife and three children ages DS23, DS19 and DD16.

Lina also came home from school today and said she might want to go to our local community college for the next two years and study communications instead of going to Massage Therapy School.


It's a good thing I don't drink, or I probably would have to tie one on tonight.............

What's every one doing for mothers day?

I don't like going out when it's that crowded. So we just a few families hang out by the pool and the men do all the cooking. I hope we have nice weather.

ds is taking robin and i out for breakfast sunday.
then a visit to my moms, then nursing home to see robins mom.

Well I hope everyone has a great Friday! I too have had a bad week at the school. I didn't post it earlier, but one of the kids purposely threw something at me on Monday from about a yard away as hard as he could and it hit me in the face. Now you would think that because that is technically an assault, and I did file charges, that it would be easy to get him expelled. Nope, he has a disability and has what is called a 504 plan, and basically his rights are trumping the rights and safety of 400+ staff and students right now, and although I do understand his mother wanting to fight for him, because my Sarah is developmentally disabled and I know how that goes, I and my administration are fighting that he is placed somewhere else, even had to get the union involved. Unfortunately I have a feeling it is going to be a long battle.

Well, the time has come, I need to work out a whole new household budget. We just finished our utility budget for the year and came in way over the budget allotment. Between that, and gas for the car, and the food bill.......

So, that is what I will be doing this evening.
