Fluff, you want fluff===my DD just clogged up the toilet, how is that for fluff............
I'll join you all on having a bad day.
Our septic was to be pumped out today. Did not happen. When I accessed it yesterday, dug the septic tank up, I found it not to be draining. It was in overflow mode.Needless to say today the guy came to pump it out and we ended up digging up the distribution box to see what was wrong. Our box was full, packed tighter than a can of sardines,
of roots and dirt. Not a good sign for the leach field condition either. The only the thing that should be there is you know what.
I'm expecting a call from someone tonight to see when we can take a look at what needs to be done. I'm not looking forad to the $$$. Here is a call now. May be my septic expert calling to schedule a look-see. Got to go.
Well, the Reception hall is secured, there'll be plenty of booze, and the church is a go too. Jesse and Kristin just have to pick the time and go to classes first.
The Save the Date cards are out too.
Now we have to get the dress, the DJ, the photographer, the florist, the cake, the tuxes, and the catering in line. Geeeez, we still have so much to do.
Kristin is the procrastinator, and I'm the anal pre-planner.

Well I hope everyone has a great Friday! I too have had a bad week at the school. I didn't post it earlier, but one of the kids purposely threw something at me on Monday from about a yard away as hard as he could and it hit me in the face. Now you would think that because that is technically an assault, and I did file charges, that it would be easy to get him expelled. Nope, he has a disability and has what is called a 504 plan, and basically his rights are trumping the rights and safety of 400+ staff and students right now, and although I do understand his mother wanting to fight for him, because my Sarah is developmentally disabled and I know how that goes, I and my administration are fighting that he is placed somewhere else, even had to get the union involved. Unfortunately I have a feeling it is going to be a long battle.
BUT as of this time tomorrow I will be at

Well, it worked until about 5:15am this morning when she was yelling for me again. Yep...wide awake. So now she's downstairs with me on the couch and watching the Disney Channel. Poor EB is going to have a heck of a time with her today. When she gets up this early she's a HELLION later in the day.

Uh, I mean we just got home from the brewer's dinner and it was incredible! We tried 8 different beers and doubled up on some and all I can say is apply for a loan with my bank tomorrow!
Just kidding ... we don't practice 24-hour turnaround on commercial loans and even if we did I think I'll be surly tomorrow due to the drinking tonight! But it was soooooo much fun! What a great b-day present for Jason!

Will those hugs help a little? So what I posted last night about not seeing Amelia came back to bite me in the butt. She woke up around midnight yelling for me. I had to go in her room and calm her down with the prospect of good ol Chuck E Cheese today.

to you Andy. I totally understand the frustrations and worries of having teenagers. Hang in there, and don't forget you are a great Daddy!That family is definately in my prayers today.Real nasty weather wise here today, we are currently under a flood watch, and are expecting 1-3 inches of rain today. The weather kind of fits the mood for our area. A funeral is being held today for a Philadelphia police officer that was shot and killed the other day.
The 3rd and final man involved in the bank robbery and killing of the officer was arrested Wednesday night. The police used the slain officer's handcuffs after the capture of the 3rd suspect. The handcuffs were then turned over to the family of the slain officer, once the final suspect was put in jail.
