Just a small fix. ;)

Hmm a little bit of Disneyland and 14 days on the Magic is a big fix, in my mind at least :rolleyes1 Besides, it's way too stinkin' busy at Christmastime anyway! ;)

I agree Cass. Jason should have gone a while ago. I'm hoping for David Cook to win it all now.

P.S. I think Kristin found her dress tonight. Now she just has to find a new job to pay for it. :scared1:

Yeah, I've been rooting for David Cook since the beginning. I think he's the only one that could release an album right now and have it do well.

So, expensive dress huh??? I thought mine was going to be that way too but I ended up with a dress I really liked, a head piece and veil all for $750, which is good considering most of the dresses I tried on were $1500+

Sorry, it is only 15 Nights on the ship. :rotfl:

As for Xmas time, that is why we were trying to go before the holiday rush. Figured we could get down there before everyone else and get back before it got crazy down there.

Oh well, guess we'll look into February, but since we probably will go Labor Day Weekend 2009 (not sure, but if the free food offer is on again, then maybe), we may look into 5 nights in Mexico, Jamaica or the Dominican Republic. Been to the first 2 but not the 3rd. Haven't been on a "beach" vacation since Suz' 40th back in 2004. Kind of missing it.

DS will have at least a 3 day weekend sometime in Feb, so we'll just add 2 or 3 days onto that weekend. :thumbsup2

You ladies need to look into renting the dress. Suz did that and saved tons of $.

It is something you'll never wear again in your life. Just seems like a lot of money to spend on a one-time outfit.

Oh well, they don't call me spendy-bendy for nothing.

And would someone please tell me how the heck these related threads show up at the bottom of this one? :confused3

My friend did that and spent about $300. It's not for everyone though. Most girls think about their wedding day from the time they find out what it is :goodvibes And wearing a dress that was worn many times before by many other brides may not be very appealing to some brides. Brides like to feel special and unique and a rented dress doesn't make them feel either.

LOL, I often wondered the same thing....I just read the titles and they make so sense...:confused3

Ahem....I just peeked over at your blog and I don't see an update yet :rolleyes1

Just pointing out that fact for ya ;) :rotfl2:

Who left AI????:confused3

Here's how clueless I am:

I saw Nancy's post and was like what is she talking about ... who left artificial intelligence where???

And then I saw the rest of the posts about American Idol ... :rotfl2: :lmao:

On that note I'm going to bed - wasn't able to finish Red Square tonight but will definitely have it wrapped up tomorrow evening some time. I'll be sure to post a blip here when it's ready.

Good night! :goodvibes

When's the last time you even looked at your dress?

Is it something you just put away in a closet somewhere?

I remember many years back, my cousin wanted to wear my Aunt's dress and they pulled it out of the box at my Grandma's (that's where they left it). Anyhow, my Aunt got a stain on it and they sent it to the cleaners. It came back in the box. Never opened it. Now some 30 years later they open it up and the stain is still there.

Sorry, I think of a wedding as a waste of money. All that cash for less than 12 hours? A down payment on a house would be nice and will last longer.

As for the other people wearing the dress, what about the groom's tux? No one cares about that, do they?

I agree, one of the reasons why we went to Vegas and got hitched ;)

But grooms don't care about this stuff. They basically show up and hope that the bride has done everything so that they don't have to :lmao:

Hey, I did a lot in planning our wedding.

What we really hope for is that the bride shows up. :scared1: :rotfl2:

We also hope she is wearing a "white" dress. :rolleyes1 (hey, it's after 9:00 :rotfl: )

If Suz and I had to do it all over, we would look into just going to Mexico or something like that to get married. We wouldn't do the church again or the hall.

Heck, 80% of the people that came we probably don't talk to any more, and if we do, it is maybe once a year.

Hello Cheryl,
Saw your e-mail when I got home from work. I have been lurking the past few days on this thread. I must admit that I have been posting on other threads. I got curious as to what's happening elsewhere and started talking to people in Texas because we were stationed in Texas. Then I caught up with someone in Rhode Island, the state I was born and the place I spent summers with my mom's parents.
Sorry to hear Rach (RED) will not, as of this time, have a traveling partner when you vacation in June. If that holds true I told Lynn that we can get coloring books out. :rotfl2: Lynn said Rach is a lot older now. :confused3
Chris

Congratulations everyone on your new thread. :thumbsup2
It looks like you are all asleep, except maybe our UK friends? That's OK, it's 2:25am Eastern Standard Time here on the East coast. Nighty night time for us stateside people. I'm winding down my day by watching Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. One of my favorite Clint movies.
Before I go I just want to say that you not only reached the end of thread 5 at the end of April, but you also started thread 6 as a new month came about. Good going on the timing.
Now for my wake up call to all you sleeping people.

GET YOUR KEASTERS OUT OF BED!!! THE DAY IS A-WASTING!!! :yay: :cool1: :woohoo: :cheer2:

Chris

Before I hit the rack I may waite a little because Henry Fonda in The Oxbow Incident has just started. Nah! I better get some sleep. Have a good Thursday.

Chris

I though a while about my 5000th post:scratchin
About what I should say:confused3
I thought a poem might be quite fitting :goodvibes
on this momentous day:rotfl:

I could talk about the great friends I've made:grouphug:
Some KK'ers and some Bobbers:grouphug:
I could even talk about the other people:rolleyes1
like Dawg and Tart - the ebay camera robbers!:rotfl:

I could talk about the fresh ones
and the milestones that we chase
I could talk about the photos we post
that bring a smile upon my face:goodvibes

But no......... I'll talk of none of those
I thik I've said enough
So .......all I really want to say is...........

Fluff FluffFluffFluffFluffFluff!!!!:rotfl2:

Good morning Thread #6. I didn't think I would ever catch up.:scared1:

Cheryl, and Nancy what time will you all be getting here today? Do I need to leave a key under the mat so you all can let yourself in? :rotfl: (I wish)
