Well, good morning folks and a happy saturday to you all.

Its 8.30am and I'm still in my pj's. Ellis' little friend is coming over to play at 9.30am so I'd better get dressed. I'm also cooking a big brekkie this morning, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, beans, mushrooms (all totally fat free and calorie free of course;) )

BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE:goodvibes

MMMMM! Besides the meat, I'm coming over for breakfast at Karen's!!!!

:goodvibes Good morning everyone! :goodvibes

How was everyone's evening?

Mornin' Mel......

We had a nice evening, nothing all that special happened............;) ;) ;)

Really, it was quite an exhausting day, I can only imagine what Lina's wedding day will be like for this dear OLD dad.......... :scared: :scared1:

A group of the kids are going down to the shore today. It's too chilly for the beach, so I think they are just going to hang around on the boardwalk. From what I gather, Lina, Adam and the rest of their group had a fabulous time last night.....:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Holy cannoli. I got an offer earlier today ato teach for three weeks at a University in Salzburg, Austria this fall.

They'd pay me (@ over $6000 for the three weeks), pay for my flight and give me an apartment to stay.

WHAT DO I DO??!!

Melody,
I understand you missing the kids....it would be a hard choice for me too. But that is an opportunity of a lifetime! I think you should go!

Hazel, Adam's mom and I went out to eat after the pre-prom at the high school. We got in just a little bit ago and I got the pics loaded into my Webshots account. I will post some of them here, as some pics are duplicates. When Angelina came out of her bedroom and into the livingroom, mom, dad and poppie all got choked up and a few tears were shed.

Beautiful photos Andy!

I'm glad she had a good time!

Cass - the Bobigator looks AWESOME! Once again, you've shown how incredibly talented you are! :worship: :worship: :worship:

I was thinking the same as Karen - a spreadsheet or simple list of our meets, etc. This is above and beyond - not to mention really spiffy-looking!

Seriously considering the Austria thing. You all are correct...it IS an opportunity of a lifetime. I think I'd regret it. I have to pursue this through HR to see how they'd handle me being away from my normal job for that long. Faculty do it all the time but I'm not full time faculty, I'm administration. I teach adjunct in addition to my regular full time admin position. So I'm not sure how they'd handle it.

Andy - I'm glad she had such a nice time. what a memorable weekend for her!

GRRR! I actually had to turn the heat on in our house! Doesn't mother nature know it is SPRING???!!!

It's definitely worth investigating further - good luck!

Good morning all!

Just thought I'd catch up quick before I started my day...since DS started bouncing around in his room at 4:30 am...:headache:

We have soccer game this morning, then the family over for dinner this evening.

Tomorrow we're going to a local Renaissance Festival, and then grilling steaks if the weather cooperates. Have a good weekend everyone!

Sounds like that money tree subject is coming back again. Spring brings about abundant dollars, or is it the other green stuff called leaves?:lmao:

Chris

So that's it Chris. My trees have green but it's only leaves. Those money trees must grow further west...about 15 minutes west from here. :rotfl:

Where are my manners. My parents taught me better than that. I forgot to say goodnight. So, have a good night, morning, and day. Please accept the apology. :worship: ;) :rotfl:

Chris

Thanks Chris. Tell Lynn I say "Hey". :thumbsup2

She looks georgous Andy - did you cry? She's a beautiful yound woman (not a stinky teen at all:goodvibes )

Of course he cried. That girl is gorgeous!! princess:

No, he starts a new job on the 16th of June and we've already ok'd him taking our August Disney vacation. He can't push it. I'd be going myself. It'd be great, though, if I could find a friend to go with me.

Hmmm, did I ever tell you that I'm fluent in German? :yay:

I'm up a little too early for a Saturday too. Those birds outside our window sure are loud at 5:00 am! :goodvibes

Well, at least it gives me an early start to the day. I've already got another closet cleaned out and some investment papers organized. And it's only 6:20!! :yay:

Chuck is rototilling my dad's garden and then doing ours too. I have to record it. It's the funniest thing to watch. I thought my dad was going to pee his pants last year watching Chuck. I never saw him laugh so hard.:lmao:

Oh yeah, I forgot. I found two 35mm cameras when cleaning out one of the closets. I had them in the Goodwill pile already. Well just for kicks and giggles I thought I'd check eBay first. Guess what? The lens alone of one of the cameras sold for close to $100.00 last night!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 The body sold for more. :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I have a Canon that one of the major camera retailers in SE Wisconsin has had his eye on for years. He offered to buy it from me numerous times. I loved that camera and wouldn't sell it to him. It's a rare one that from what I understand Canon sold only about 1000 of them. I'll be looking that one up too.

So Karen, Mike??? Check eBay in a few days. I got a good camera to sell ya. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

The cheese stands alone....the cheese stands alone......:sad1:

Good morning everyone. I have to catch up from page 308:scared1: That will probably not happen today. We have been very busy the last couple of night. Thurs. Alex's band concert, Fri, Alex's softball game and today Relay for Life. Plus starting to potty train Harrison. Any suggestions from anyone with boys?
