:yay: :yay: :yay:

Just booked Disney and Universal tickets online for xmas

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Thats car hire, park passes, hotel, flights all sorted:yay:

Only thing left to find is the spending money:lmao: - get working more overtime Neil;) :lmao:

I can now plan our itinary and then book ADR's next month:woohoo:

:woohoo: Sounds like you're getting everything set Karen! I just adjusted our hotel reservations so we are one step closer to getting everything set. We are seriously thinking of going to Universal a few days this trip too so I added one night to the Fairfield Inn on I-Drive to the beginning of the trip, that saved me some DVC points and now instead of 4 mights at Saratoga Springs in a 1 bedroom and then switching to a studio for the last 4 nights I changed that reservation to 7 nights in the 1 bedroom :woohoo: so we'll start out at the Fairfield Inn for 2 nights and then 7 nights at Saratoga Springs.

What kind of Universal tickets did you buy? I just bought the ones they have on-line where you get 7 days 2-park unlimited admission for $81.38, I just couldn't pass up that price! If we don't use them in Dec. we can use them next June or whenever we do go back to Orlando (I think I've convinced Rach we should go again next June, I'm still working on Al and then we'll buy the annual passes!)

There's nothing wrong with you! You are my idol, I wish I could go to both in the same month!

I am doing DL solo, so this should be intersting. DH had to work and I have a wedding in LA. Both kids were busy also so, I am not much for my own company but I can't wait to walk through every shopa nd show with no male rushing me!

Any photos of the garden Karen?

Not yet.... need to mulch first

Roughly last week in October, but Brits tend to take an extra week either side to get a longer vacation. This means that they have to take their children out of school for an extra week.

Its terrible isnt it - all those dreadful parents dragging their kids out of school for an eztra week over half term:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I got one too Cheryl. I'm taking it to work today to look through. I actually got all three books that we were talking about earlier. :)

I got the Pass Porter Treasure Hunt book and I'm not sure if it is one of the three mentioned but I also got The Walt Disney World Trvia Book that has multiple choice questions with paragraph long answers at the end of each section :thumbsup2 I think I need to go but myself a Universal book now that we are going to be going there in the future. We haven't been to Universal in 7 years and I know there are a lot of new things there that I need to read up on.

Yep! - thats the ones! - its a crazy great price:banana: - 7 days for cheaper than a two day pass:confused3

Did you complete the survey afterwards? - it gives you a voucher to print for discount off stuff in the parks.

I went to WDW in Jan. 2005 with a friend and her then 18 year old son. We did the WDW 1/2 marathon together and they are WDW lovers like I am so we stayed a week. One day we split up and did our own thing and I went to the Animal Kingdom park by myself, it was different but it was nice to do things at my pace and see what I wanted without having to consult others :goodvibes Have a great time :goodvibes

I know, I couldn't pass those tickets up at that price and seeing how we haven't been to Universal in 7 years it will be like going somewhere new for us :cool1: I did the survey too and I have my voucher for the coupon book :thumbsup2

Now I just need to start researching Universal to see what's all new  Have you been recently Karen? Any must do's? I was trying to read some on the Universal board here on the DIS and see if they have anything special for Christmas but haven't gotten very far, do you know?

We were there then, too! We just got off the Magic's special 4-nighter. We actually were dinner mates with Andy and Hazel! I was 4 months pregnant!

What in the He double hockey stick is going on here, 8 pages added since I was on at lunchtime.

Geez people give it a rest.............:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What about if it sailed to Hawaii, once the new resort is opened?

That's a long cruise if I'm not mistaken from LA. If it were Hawaii only, they'd need to leave the US or be subject to US Wage Laws.

What resort are they building?

If we do that, we won't be done with this thread before you leave.

Hey, at least we're back to the way the thread has been. Love all the pages, don't you?

I'm not too old to enjoy the Magic and I never will be! We took Rach to WDW the first time when she was 18 months and we have been back to WDW or Disneyland or DCL every year since. It has been fun to see it through her eyes at all the different stages and she still enjoys the Magic even now when she is 14! Just the other day we were talking about our upcoming trip in Dec. and we were both saying how much we can't wait to be at WDW again!

I am so glad we get to go to DL this year and DCL next - it's going to be great!

DS also watches the Disney Channel, and Disney movies, I guess I've pre-conditioned him to be a Disney fan!

Make sure you do both sides of dueling dragons. Also get there when the park opens it get very crowded later in the day.
