And Jen, love that photo of Thomas! I'd have taken a photo like that too!
so cute!:thumbsup2

Jen, I've dealt with a peeing cat for years.
I have read and tried all kinds of things, it was very difficult and I never could win that battle.

A****aka was my favorite kitty too. I actually paid money for him.
He was a purebred Snowshoe. Which is a breed related to Siamese.
My vet actually told me that most breeds related to Siamese are very high
strung and have 'ISSUES'!

I pulled all wood panels off walls in my home and took out all downstairs carpeting and put down Pergo floors because of him.

He was on amitriptaline (sp) antidepressant for kitties for awhile too, which helped but I hated how it changed his personality, so I stopped it.

I had 3 cat litter boxes going on 3 separate house levels so every cat, I had 3, could have a private space.

I had to clean the litter boxes at least twice a day or Ashi wouldn't go in them.

I bought Feliway spray..... supposed to calm kitties with the scent.
Didn't work very well either.

Even called a cat communicator..... waste of money too.

A few times he really did have bladder infections, but most of the time he just didn't like to use his box.

He totally ruined my old couch.

Sadly, he went out one evening..... something I RARELY let my cats do, too dangerous at night, and Ashi always wanted to go to bed with me on my pillow, but he begged me to go out late like 10pm in a light drizzly evening.

Never saw him again.

Ads in papers, posters put up around the neighborhood, calls to vets, shelters, etc. And Ashi was microchipped, so anyone finding him, even dead on the side of the road would scan him and they'd call me.
But nothing.

Neighbors had been talking of a coyote around the area, I think that's what happened.
He never would have gone away with a stranger because he was TERRIFIED of people.

I miss him so much.:sad1:

But truth told, I don't miss the peeing.

Robin, tons of pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for you for that promotion :woohoo:

Lori, loved loved loved those childhood pics :goodvibes It's so cool to see pics from people's childhood in the Kingdom ::yes:: :wizard:

So, for those of you who did go when you were young, is that why you all have a love for Disney??? I have 4 siblings that we went with but I was the baby by 5 years so I wonder if it's because I was much younger that I was the only one who got bit by the Disney bug?? :confused3

Hey Cass! How's the business going, by the way?

It's going good, only got one order so far though. I am working on getting the word out :thumbsup2 I figured it would take about 4-6 months to really start getting some business so I still have a long way to go. Thanks for asking

You must have loved your cat very much to do all that....

Now that I know it's not a health issue, I think I will just have to put down a second box. It's inconvenient, but we're not going to give up the cats. Elminster (he's my boy kitty and the prime suspect) is a cuddle cat. He loves to climb into your lap while you're sitting on the couch. Mara (girl kitty and the suspected upchucker) is more playful but also a cuddler. She's a Daddy's girl - she will climb up onto Pete's shoulders and literally lay across his shoulders. I have a picture of Pete with Mara across his shoulders and Elminster in his arms :lovestruc ....They'll both be 10 this year, so we'll just see how things go from here.

now surely you lovely ladies will have better things to do on the repo cruise than torment underdog.:headache: :rotfl2:

Now Dawg...you've got to learn your lesson some how, so........

I don't know if we asked this one before on the KK1 thread, but:

:tinker: When was your first Disney trip and where was it? :tinker:

(Feel free to post pictures unless you are wearing tube socks.) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Mine was at Christmas in 1973 at Walt Disney World in Florida. I was at the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. It wasn't very busy either. :)

Ours was in 1989, two years after we got married. We did a 2 centre holiday - a week in Kissimmee and a week in Daytona. We made the fatal mistake of getting talking into buying Timeshare. We only recently managed to get rid of it...and had to give it to charity in the end. That's why we so sceptical of DVC.

Wow..what a photo Andy.

BTW...I should've said Welcome Home. Make sure that you tell your TA that you are DVC members, their members gatherings are great fun on the ship.

Yahoo...got some Mickey post today. Yes, our cruise planning pack arrived..Hooray!:cool1: :cool1:

Yeay! You're going to have SO much fun!

wish it was me...sigh...:goodvibes

Someone will have to post pics of Cartagena - so I can see if I can spot anything I remember. And tell Jeff not to be a wimp - I vacationed for a week in Cartagena (not to mention lived in Cali for 11 months at the young age of 18) and I'm just fine. :rotfl:

Ok, I'm in a little bit better mood now....:cool1:

Have I ever shared this picture? It's another one of my favorites from the cruise:

We got to the Oceaneer's club one night to pick up Thomas, and they said his age group was over in the Lab. This is how we found him - sound asleep. Of course, Pete went to pick him up and I said, "wait! I want to get a picture first!"...I'm such a weird mom...:upsidedow

Not weird at all, I think that pic is priceless!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks Heather.........:goodvibes

Our first two cruises back in 2003 and 2004 were paid for with our DVC points. We sold our 350 BCV DVC points after the 2004 cruise to help get my mom to Florida and away from my violent step-father. Now that my mom is settled, Hazel and I decided to get back into DVC.

We did attend a couple of the DVC gatherings on our previous cruises and came away with some nice gifts......:)
