I know what you mean - my friend recently had to have her dog put down after loads of treatment - it cost her $900

Afternoon/Evening all!
Karen-Great news about Patch! The bright side is now when he does go Ellis may be a little better prepared for it. And about the money, try this on for size. My dog is allergic to grass, dust, and pollin. No kidding! He is on about $80 worth of meds every month! This is why I tell people we can't have a child. The dog is too expensive!!

Holy cow! - thats one expensive dog!

Neil and I have decided next time not to tell Ellis - we'll just tell him afterwards that he died in his sleep and we buried him in the garden. He'll get over it a lot quicker (I hope) if he doesnt have to bury him etc.

I have some good news! Our Wii came in today!!! Woody went home at lunch and opened it already. Hope he went back to work.

Seriously - be careful when you box... my arms and shoulders hurt for 2 days afterwards.... I boxed for nearly 2 hours straight (I was slightly drunk ) and I woke up the next morning and I could barely move

I gave Ellis a new game today for being "brave" at the skin prick text - its called "Chicken shoot" - says it all in the title really - shooting at cartoon chickens a they fly by... we were shouting "die chickens die!" as we played - bet the new neighbours are wondering whats going on

Yeah, that's what my parents did when my brother's cat had to put down. She was so old and sick. He actually took it pretty well.

I'm waiting for an item on ebay to end - it ends at midnight - why do people do that - surely they stand more chance of a last minute "bidding war" if its not so late?

Its a ps2 game - Ed, Ed and Eddy... At xmas we bought Ellis every figure, omnitrex, slide viewer, voice changer, just made him 4 t shirts with Ben 10 transfers, etc etc for Ben 10 - his favourite cartoon........... 3 months later he prefers Ed, Ed and Eddy - kids - dont ya just luv 'em!

Actually, my first thought about the "water should be free" rant....

"Water is free, lady....just take your bucket down to the lake/river and fill up! It's the delivery that costs extra..."

I so want that game!!!!! I looked at it yesterday!!!! Ellis is going to have to tell me which games are the best.
As far as the arms I already know. For New Years our group of friends had a Wii party. We boxed, played tennis, bowled, and played Dance, Dance Revolution. Believe me, everyone's New Years resolution was to get in better shape! Woody had to ice down is shoulder he played so much!

I occasionally do the brain training on Ellis' ds .... my brain was about 60 when I started (I'm actually only 40 but I have too many wrinkles)... now I'm down to brain age of 29 (on a good day!)

If I were you I'd carry an icy bucket of water with me... if anyone made that "water should bwe free" comment I'd throw the bucket over them and say "there you go..that buckets on me!"

Although...maybe you shouldnt if you actually want to still be in employment

Shelley - another fun game is "Wario smooth moves" - you have to hold the wiimote in all sorts of different positions and do different actions - Neil and I were fighting like kids over whose turn it was to play

Theres also a winter sports coming out soon - it may already be out in USA?

It looks like another "get up and move" type game - theres ski-ing etc - you can shoop shoop down the mountain in the comfort of your lounge - my kinda skiing
