I already have a computer degree, but if I want this promotion in the future, I need to get my BA in Organizational Management with a concentration in Human Resources.

I'm doing it online with Ashford University. They accepted a lot of my past credits, so I only need 11 classes. If I go continuously, I'll graduate with a BA in May 2009.

I'm not real excited about it... but sometimes you have to do things you don't care to do.

dont let my sweet tart kid you. she thrives on this stuff. always trying to better herself. i'm very proud of her.
one of these days she may wise up and figure out she doesnt need me anymore.

Hi all!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter!

Jay and I are tied up for the rest of the day with a wedding and then we're having a brunch here at the house tomorrow ...

Also, if everyone could spare an extra good thought for the many, many people in this area being impacted by flooding it would be much appreciated. Jay and I are fortunate enough to live outside of the flood zone (we're about 18 miles from the Missouri River ... if we flood you'd all better find an ark) but we know many people who aren't as lucky. Those areas in South St. Louis County are some of my old stomping grounds and I have a lot of friends and some family who are anxiously waiting to see just how high the water is going to get.

The scary part is that this isn't even Spring flooding - we just had a storm that started Monday night and didn't stop unitl Wednesday and it did nothing but rain the entire time. We had six inches in our rain gauge after 24 hours.

Anyway, thanks again for sending some good thoughts to the soggy armpit of the Midwest. Have a great day tomorrow and eat lots of chocolate!

Just arrived home a few minutes ago to a very dark house. Our "ST" turned all the lights off before she left for her date, well, at least she remembered to lock the door this time when she left.............

ATM gives too much cash. People in London line up at bank to get more than they asked for. ATM was giving double what people requested.

saw on www.screamscape.com that the rumor is the 2 new disney ships will be named Disney Dream and Disney Celebration.

Those are good names. I'm pretty sure that my next cruise after KK2 will be on one of those.

I'm with Heather. I won't use a CC in a foreign city. My brother did that once and by the time he got home, half of Jamaica was using his CC number for purchases. It was a headache beyond belief. If they don't take my good old american money, they don't get the sale.

That's a good tip. I used cash on the last cruise, I'll probably do the same for this one.

Yep, in the flesh. Although, my "science" projects have been a bit on hold lately. The most creative I've gotten lately is a dollhouse I'm building for Leah. I just finished re-doing our Bedroom for Laura. All painted and brand new furniture. Next big project will be a new laminate floor for our family room. Then on to Christmas decorations. I'm hoping to get started by July this year.
