I called to ask about sending the boxes I had been packing and was told that you can no longer send anything to this service. So shipping to your hotel is the ONLY option.

I'm not sure if they are talking about this service or not: I don't remember who posted the information below. (sorry) When I get back from my meeting (about 1 hr) I can try to confirm.

OK - here is the scoop and first I want to say I am truly very sorry to give everyone this news.
I made numberous of phone calls and what has been posted is true. Reasons being that so many boxes, cartons etc were coming in and there was no way to check all items shipped so the coast Guard said NO MORE OF ANYTHING.
If you put water, sodas, liquor etc in carry ons or check ins and if it is found, it will be confiscated - now 2 suitcases and 1 carry on can be carried by each person which includes kids. You can no longer ship diapers, baby food etc. It has to be a carry on or check in.
Wish I would have had better news, but security has tighten down and getting harder, but it is in your best interest and safety that these steps were taken. To tell you how strong they have gotten, Norm and I now have to be double badged - one by the port and the second one by the US Government.

So does this mean we can't bring our own water on board?

I have been up to my chin these past 2 days with research and brainstorming. Some of you remember from last year that I wanted to start my own diaper cake business...well, I started a fire under my butt and finally decided to get that going.

I just finished designing my logo and thought I would share with you guys.

I will be making my website in the next week or so and I will post the link when it's done

And for those of you who are going HUH???

A diaper cake is a gift typically given at baby showers that is made with diapers and decorated with flowers, ribbons and baby products, shaped to look like a cake.

Good Luck Cass. I made a diaper cake 2 years ago for a teacher that was having a girl. Next month I will be making 2, boy and girl, for 2 teachers whose wives are having their babies, due 4 days apart from each other.

Cass that is really terrific!! Good luck to you! We got a "cake" as a wedding shower gift. It was our bath towels, wash clothes, bath mats and such. It was HUGH and weighed a ton!!!

Lori!!! We missed you guys!!! How is Scott? Hope he is feeling better and keeping off his feet. We had a great time. Got a little wind burned. I look like a bright red tomato!! Kinda like this but with a smile. Yes we love rollercoasters!! The higher the better. That was the main reason we got our Platinum passes. To go to BG Tampa. We rode Sheikra in Tampa and were thrilled when they announced Griffin.

Jay has been with his company for ten years and as a "thank you" they're flying us to Boca Raton in August for a weekend at the Boca Raton Resort & Club!!

Four nights on them, plus airfare, plus a catered dinner on the company's yacht ... one of Jay's buddies at work went on this trip last year and said he ate seven lobster tails from the seafood buffet that night just because he could ...

Sometimes it pays to work for a privately owned company! They do this every year for employees celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25, etc... years of service with the company.

Now how am I supposed to get any of the work done that I brought home tonight when there's another vacation to think about?

Off topic ... if you get ESPN they start televising coverage of the World Figure Skating Championships tomorrow evening. First day of competition is over and it wasn't such a good day for team USA. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
