10/24/2009 - Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B) - Thread # 30

Evening all......Tree is up and dressed. Christmas has arrived in Surrey. Mr Grumpy helped me with only the occasional bah humbug, when the lights wouldn't work.

Presents have been wrapped and put under the tree ready to be distributed.

Rick and I attended the annual Dog Walkers Christmas get together on Friday (just 8 of us) and we don't have a dog!

Yesterday had dinner with my niece and her fiance. It was his birthday on Thursday, so we had a lovely evening with them.

Today, it was time to pretty up the house ready for Christmas.

Tomorrow, we're taking Mum to the Crematorium to put some flowers for Dad and then off to have a spot of lunch.

My goodness you put me to shame - I have some decorations around & Dan bought a tree today while I was at church. First time in 42 years I haven't picked out the tree with him. What do you suppose our emcee friend David would say to that!!!

AFEG if you are out there lurking. You can tell Ryan I am wearing my scarf tomorrow because the forcast calls for SNOW!!!!! I'm so excited and happy that I only work a couple of blocks away. It's quite cold right now (I hate cold by the way), have plenty of blankets on the bed. I'm sure if it does it won't stick, but the last time it snowed I was pregnant with Dev and he is 20 now!

Gina, Steve, and Laura be careful driving tomorrow I'm sure it will be at least icy out there.

Hello all!

I've been away for a while (figuratively speaking) so I'm still catching up but I thought I'd say hello.

Real life (post cruise) has been very hectic. I've had a change in jobs at work(different department, but I still have a job so I'm not complaining!). I am still working with the Dr. and the school system to get Thomas what he needs at school.

I have been wistfully looking at my cruise pics lately....it was a great trip. I can't believe it's over. I'm going to be planning a big trip to WDW in 2011, but it won't be nearly as fun to plan without my BOB buddies!

I just hope Joanne and Roger will be able to join us.
They won't know anything until after Patrick graduates from FSU this spring.
She was in Maine this weekend we didn't get a chance to mmet up but we did talk on the phone. She was up here attending a wedding of a old school along with three other friends that flew up from Fla with her. She said she made Snow Angles Saturday.
Got to go cook supper.

We went on a girls weekend to Nashville and stayed at Opreyland hotel. It was beautiful! If you have a chance to stay there you should.
