10/24/2009 - Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B) - Thread # 30

Gotta love that!!

Right now we have two double dips booked back to back but we will move one when time gets closer and we know more about schedules....and hopefully Janice will talk Mark into it so we can have them as tablemates again. haha

Since Rob and I had an inside cabin this last time, we went ahead and got two connecting insides on the Dream. I was afraid of seasickness, but I was ok on the Bober, so we really didn't miss the Verandah.

Anyone else up for it, that would be great too!

Nancy and I had an inside on deck7. The only problem you have is you don't know what time it is. It could be 9:00AM in the morning but the cabin is still darker than a pocket

You're right...it's total darkness.
We were inside on deck 7 too... we started out inside on deck 5, but our neighbors were doing some major fighting and we asked to either be moved or give us some good earplugs. We could hear everything. Mike told the guy at the information desk that he didn't want to be there when they made up. They put us on deck 7. whew!

We've stayed inside before...we just turn on the closet light and close the door. It gives you enough light that you can see a little. We tend to wake up early anyway, but it's easy to sleep in.

Well, let the not so good news continue. I just got word that my dad has to have an angiogram. He had a quadruple by pass about 2 1/2 years ago.

Thanks. I'm not putting the cart before the horse, though. This may be an easy fix. I just feel sorry for him and my mom because I am sure they are scared. They do EVERYTHING together, which is great, but also hard when something like this happens.

Been there, done that. We're the same way. It's good that they are so close, you're Dad will have a lot of support. And you're right, this will be and easy fix and they can go back to enjoying their time together.

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to pop in and say hello.. a lot going on here lately so I've been running all around.

I had a Dream booking on hold with DU for 5/29 (first DD) but had to let it go because I need at least a week after school is out. I know we'll be adding a grandma to this trip so I will be booking 2 rooms. We'll see what happens.. I really want the 5 day DD.

Oh and someone mentioned Nassau - I don't plan on getting off the ship for Nassau, just another "sea day" for us.

I agree with that too, Paige - I prefer a 7 night. BUT, we were blown away by CC and will be happy to go there twice!
