Edited: Ok, so I signed up, but someone will have to request to be my friend so I can get things started. I have no idea what to do.

Not on facebook either. (But, you signed up, so I guess it is just me! )
Anyway, not signing up. If I do, Megan will want to and I will NOT let her. (Nor can she get a cell phone...even if "everyone" else has them!)

Well, we are unpacked and laundry is done. But, there are a lot of things hanging out in the family room. (Bags and bags of candy, DIStag gifts, general odds and ends!) I'll have to get the girls to grab their stuff.

We have to get the room cleared to get back our furniture. We had it taken out to get repaired before we left. We couldn't get it back before our trip. It's being brought home tomorrow. Hopefully it will be better cared for by the girls (since they are older now!)

He actually has done most of it. I took the clothes out of the suitcase and separated them to be washed and he washed them while I was at work. What a sweetie.

I was just thinking that now that I have the time to be on the boards, the cruise is over and people are hardly posting.

Matthew is working tonight (all night) and then tomorrow evening. He was getting rid of leaves and mowing the grass in his spare time. So, we haven't sat down with the pictures. But, I'll pass the word to him that he needs to find some to post! (And I want to see what he shot as well!)

I haven't taken much time to look at mine. I've been carrying my camera in my purse and looking at them on my lunch hour.

Matthew took most of the pictures. I took a few with his new camera and the old one that Megan was carrying (or should I say, I ended up carrying in WDW!) I think he put most of them on his laptop and should have transferred to the main computer. I just need time to look at them. Maybe I'll ask him to set it up in the morning before he lays down to sleep.

He's actually orienting a new person. Usually he doesn't do the midnight shifts, just days and evenings. That was one of the perks when they created a second tier of Duty Managers.

Mostly they need a person in the Operations office for emergencies and for early morning activities at the airport.

I'm actually the one on night shift - all the time. 12 hour nights 3 nights a week. I've been doing it for about a year now. I don't love it, but it works well for the kids. It's hard all around with both of us working the off shifts and weekends.

(Truth be told, I would try to quit but it pays for our vacations!)

So, do you work in a hospital?

Yes. I'm a nurse on a medical-surgical floor. I switched last year. I was working pediatrics before that.

A couple of years ago, Megan said she wanted to be a nurse. I was frustrated with the schedule requirements one day and told her "You can be anything you want to be, but just remember, nurses have to work weekends and holidays." I felt guilty awhile later and asked if she still wanted to be a nurse. She said "Yes, but I know I'll have to work weekends and holidays." It was very cute! (She currently wants to be a zoologist.)
