omg!!! we just recieved the package from dcl for the DCL HouseParty.
WOW!! the stuff that is in there is amazing!!
i'll have to get robin to take a pic. lots more stuff than the last time. including prints and luggage tags for the Disney Dream.
a large statue of mickey donald and goofy promoting the alaskan cruises.
wish this package would have come before the cruise, we could have put some of this stuff in distags. guess everyone has to come to ohio now.

Hi peeps

All 3 of us are now at home icky.

There is an online questionaire in the uk you can take re H1N1. We took the questionaire and were prescribed tamiflu yesterday even though we only have half the symptoms. I have now had it for 4 days, Neils 2 and Ellis 1 1/2. Apparantly it only lasts 5-7 anyway so I'm going without it if I can.

Doesd up on paracetamol and flu and cough syrup etc. Have unpacked one case and nothing else. Still havent even viewed our photos!

Sorry to hear so many others are icky too.

Thanks for the Kind words Di! Laura and I agree that one of the best parts of this cruise were our table mates. We enjoyed going to dinner everynight and catching up with everyone.

Hello Everyone,

I am finally beginning to adjust to the real world again. I was swaying for a day or so myself and have been waking up way to early with the time change and east coast vs. west coast time. We had a wonderful cruise and I sure enjoyed meeting all of you again and some for the first time.

Steve always jokes about moving out of state someday and I've decided that if we do I'm moviing to the U.S. Virgin Islands. I absolutely loved St. John and St. Thomas.

One of the best things about our cruise this time was getting to have dinner every night with our table mates. Rick and Heather, Mike and Robin, and Walt and Di. What a treat it was for Steve and I to have adult conversation. It was a pleasure to get to know you all a little better.

I'm going to try and show my face on the board a little bit more so I can keep up with all of the friends that we've made over the last two cruises. Right now though I have 6 unpacked suitcases calling my name. (Unpacking has got to be the worst part of vacationing)

Hi Laura...good to see you on the DIS. Rick and I hope we will be able to catch up with you when you come out at New Year. Depends on work, etc. I'll look up those websites for you though when we get back and PM them to you and Steve.

So what exactly are the DCL house parties?????????????? Still new to all this stuff

its like a promotion that different companys have to "get the word out".
lots of different companies have them. you are supposed to invite family and friends to a party, then the company sends you a package of goodies to help describe their product. early in 2008 we heard DCL was doing a houseparty so we signed up in the hope we'd get picked and we did.
since all our friends are Dis friends and live too far away, we invited my family.
WE had a good time and passed out the free stuff. but methinks my brothers and sister were skeptical about what "we were getting out of it".
Recieved an email a week before our cruise stating that since we hosted a party last time, we would be considered first for a party this time.
Just before we left, we found out we had been chosen.

its a shame we dont have any friends close by. i blame myself. Robins a lot of fun, but Underdog can be annoying at times.

I'm sure the idea is that Disney hopes you'll book a cruise.

Hubby just told me he's taking me to DL for my birthday next week! They start their Christmas next Friday!!!! Unfortunately won't get the free ticket for my birthday because we have to be back that night since hubby has to work on Sunday. BUT I DONT CARE I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!
