But anyways it was great meeting those of you that I did----------Thanks for making our first Disney cruise memorable:thumbsup2 We are booking another one------Oct. 22, 2011 same one--------------we enjoyed it so much---would like to try the new ships--but its alot of work for a 5 day cruise-----I will stick to the 7 day ones------hope to see some of you on this one ;)

We also booked October 22, 2011 with Magic. Number 7 if this holds. That's an anniversary period. Tried for Dec. 4, 2011 because of Lynn's birthday but the dates for reservations for the Magic stopped with the end of November. We are to check back later in this month. We were looking into the Dream for 2011 but do not like the limited sailing intinerary durations. Waiting beyond 2011 is just too far out for another vacation cruise, thus Oct. 22, 2011 looked good. We have submitted a quote request with Dreams Unllimited just to see what the pricing is for certain cats on the earliest of the Dream's 5 day cruises. Does not hurt to look. lol.

Hi all! just a fly by post to say we made it home safely around 9 pm last night. LOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG 11 1/2 hour drive and we only stopped 3 times.

Had a great time. Wish I could have spent some more time with the Bobbers, but kids were sick the first half of the cruise and we had some issues with Abby's behavior for the rest of it. Next cruise - WITHOUT the KIDS!!

For some of you who had Walter and Melroy as your service team at dinner, we now have a new saying in our family..... If we go somewhere and the service is bad, we now say "At least it's not as bad as Walter!!!" :lmao:

I'm at work now (my car didn't want to start). I started posting pictures on my Facebook account last night - will keep working on them later tonight. I am SOOOOOO happy to be home.

Thank you all for the WONDERFUL DisTag gifts - they were so special - each and every one of them.

Mike - ever find out who made your special FE?? Anyone ever fess up (seriously, it wasn't me, but I'm DYING to know!!!!!)

Gina (and Douglas and Sean) - glad you got home safely! Thanks for being such GREAT tablemates!!!!

Will catch up late everyone!

We're home too. We arrived yesterday evening, to some bad news. Rob's mom had to fly home on Monday because her sister (fighting cancer) took a sudden turn for the worse and passed away. Rob's dad stayed here with the kids so they were fine. I felt terrible that Rob's mom couldn't be there to say her final good-byes, but her sister went too quickly. We will all miss her.

:hug:To you and your family Paige.:hug:

I too was slammed with some bad news while sitting at the airport yesterday. My dad fell twice while we were gone and is now in ICU with bleeding on the brain! They are talking brain surgery. :sad2::sad1:

Well, I feel absolutely terrible at the moment. On Friday I had a cough starting, by Saturday it was a sore throat, all the flight home I was coughing like a sealion and then had to endure a 2 hour delay at Manchester airport. Got home, had a hot bath, caught up on the Dis and havent moved since. I've managed to get Ellis to school, but he was coughing a little this morning so he might be getting it too.:sad2:
I ache all over, my head feels like its going to explode and I'm feeling really sorry for myself:sad1:

Join the sicko club Karen.:hug: I also started feeling lousy on Friday. Same thing. Coughing, sore throat, runny nose. Because of all the coughing, my ribs are killing me. My ears were all plugged up which made the flight home very uncomfortable.

We headed right over to the hospital but I stood outside of my dad's room. Things just got worse for me from there on. I went to bed at 5:30 pm and slept on and off until 8:00 this morning.

Did you also lose your appetite? I only had a bowl of soup on Saturday and on Sunday I tried to drink a chocolate malt but took two sips and into the freezer it went. Today isn't much better either.
:sad1::rolleyes::sad1:

Oh Nancy!!!:grouphug: for you being sick and your dad in the hospital!! I am so sorry you had to come home to that!

Hope you feel better soon and your dad has a quick recovery. I'm praying for you.

St. John--paradise..

I agree Paige - I am NOT a beach person, but I could have stayed on St. John for days and days and days. Truly paradise (and the snorkeling was AMAZING!!!!)

I hope to post some pictures of my own tonight from here.

I want my next vacation to be in St. Thomas at one of those all inclusive resorts that they guy was telling us about!

Oh no, Nancy!:hug::hug: for your daddy.

Rob is a little sick, too. A cold I'm sure. His ribs are still sore as well.

Sounds like everyone got the cruise crud. I get it all the time not matter what time of the year I cruise.

Arrived home safely to a cold and rainy England this morning. Unpacked and started laundry already.
What a fab cruise - better than the last!! It was great meeting so many of you all, although we didnt meet everyone.
Scott and Lori - thanks for a great week, hope you had as much fun as we did. Will miss you guys.

Sorry to hear about your bad news Paige and Nancy, for you both.

Hope everyone feels better soon.

Back to reality - work and school.
St Johns looks great, never made it there, will just have to go again.

Elaine has similar symptoms. The symptoms really intensified on the plane home yesterday.

Neils got it now too:rolleyes1, I hope Elaine feels ok soon:hug:

I'm sorry you're sick, Karen. That is the worst to feel bad in the airport. At least you can rest now and get better. :flower3:

thank you

Here's a pic from St Thomas. The web cams weren't working on the lift site, Andy was nice enough to get this one for me.

Hope all is well in paradise.

Becky, thanks for all the cruise photos you caught for us:hug:

So sorry you weren't there, we missed you:grouphug:

Hi, I'm turning on the lights here in Wisconsin! We had a great time...wish it had been longer!

Just a drive-by posting....Thomas still wants to drag us trick or treating tonight!

We are home! :goodvibes We definitely had a MAGICAL time on our first (and not last!!) Disney cruise :)

I will post more tomorrow about the trip.. but I first and foremost want to thank the folks that left the great DIStag gifts for us  They are wonderful -- the kids were so excited to find them outside the door.

The cats were mad when we got here but now they won't leave me alone. :rotfl:

Hope everyone that went to MNSSHP had a great time tonight, and everyone traveling today had a safe trip home. :)

Hi Jen and Angela, glad you both made it home ok!

How was TOTing Jen?

My cats weren't mad Angela, but my ferret really missed me, she's been following me everywhere:cloud9:

Gosh Paige, so sorry to hear the bad news.
Are you and Rob going to the funeral?

Paige & Rob, I'm so sorry about your Aunt. My Dad is battling cancer right now too. I almost cancelled our cruise just so I wouldn't be unavailable, just in case. Fortunately, I spoke to him yesterday and he is doing as well as can be expected. I'm glad that you had a safe trip home.

We are at the BCV today, just kind of relaxing this morning. I thought that I had left my spare camera battery and charger onboard the ship. :scared1: But it turned up as I was reorganizing the suitcases. The girls are so exhausted. They are actually still asleep and its 9:40 am. We stayed at MK until midnight last night. Had a great get together with our fellow BOBers to watch the fireworks and parade. We even ran into Mike & Robin and Rose & June at the bus queue while we were heading back to the resort. Rose said that they had to get up at 3:30 AM to catch their bus to the airport. :scared1: (She told us this at about 12:30 AM.) Oh well, sleep can come later, right?

Getting off the ship was really fast. We got off right at 9:00 AM and there weren't too many bags left to sort through to find ours. Our car service picked us up within 5-10 minutes after getting to the curb.

I can't wait to hear people's individual stories about their adventures during the cruise. I will try to put something together. I have a LOT of pictures to sort through. :woohoo:

Later...

Matthew :cool2:

Hi Matthew.

Yes, June and I got about 3 hours of sleep (counting DST extra hour)
then had to get up to go home.
Stayed up all day yesterday then crashed about 8pm.

Rough to go back to work today:headache:

How are you guys doing?

Well we made it home last night about 1:30 AM-----------ok is anyone else still feel like they are rocking and swaying----whenever I just sit still I still feel like I'm on the ship-----------:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Thanks to everyone that left us dis gifts----my girls were sooo excited to race back to the room and see if any goodies were left----and we loved finding the other rooms and leaving our gifts------------HOWEVER I do have to say I hate deck 5------------it took me about twice as long to do the few on that deck--------------I got all twisted around :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
We all had a magical time---and are getting ready to book our next one for Oct. 22, 2011----------:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Hi Wendi!
Welcome home:)

Yeah, I've still been feeling the swaying.:upsidedow
And I agree deck 5 is nutty.
