We are fine but it has been very windy and we have a bit of storm damage to the garden fence.
The worst part for the floods is the Lake District which is about 50 miles north of here. They had one months rainfall in 24 hours.
Sean was to graduate from University on wednesday but we couldnt get there due to the road being flooded. He was devastated but they was nothing we could do. The worst day of the year and we had to travel.
Thanks everyone for your concern:grouphug:

Well, I've had an annoying day - stooooooooopid car wouldnt start AGAIN this morning:rolleyes:... went out to take Ellis to karate and the blooming thing wouldnt start.:headache:.

I ended up calling the AA out AGAIN - 2nd time in 6 days:rolleyes1 and he finally got it going but it was too late to take him. Poor kid only has about 3 more lessons before his grading so then I tried to help him using the DVD.... I am no Sensei:rotfl2:. I couldnt remember any of the proper names for the moves so I was calling them all sorts of silly names, but at least he got a bit of practice right?:confused3:rolleyes1 (I've probably set him back 6 weeks:lmao:)

Oh well, Neil and I are going out to the pub for dinner tonight (in another car that actually works!)

Later peeps, I'm off for a realxing bath and a glass of fizzy stuff:goodvibes

ps - Neil, if you're still lurking..... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DARLING:lovestruc:love2:puckerup:
