I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Matthew had to go to work at 2:30, so we had to be quick with the presents!

Sarah spent most of the day building roller coasters with a construction set she got from Santa. She really liked it. She wouldn't build the ones in the book that came with it. She had to make her own!

Megan was practicing her singing with "Sing It" for the Wii. She is also helping me build a LEGO Carousel.

Matthew went all out and got us all more of the Vinylmation Mickeys (from eBay). They are pretty cool. Now we have enough the they need their own display case!

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

Those PICC's are great! Going home is always the best medicine! Long time to be hooked up to a IV pole though!

We leave on Monday. Laura and I are pretty excited, but I've gotta tell you. We'll be a long way from the kids and it scares me more than a little. I'll miss them a lot. This will be my first time in another country that is well developed. I can't wait to experience it. Laura and I are going to do some sightseeing but I really will be happy with just trying to become a part of London while we're there. I plan on trying to shop for our food locally, take the mass transit and sitting around in pubs a bit. (as long as I can stand the smoke, that will take some getting used to.) If the weather isn't too bad, I think we'll even try to stroll about in the Park.

Laura and I are looking forward to seeing Heather and Rick again too!

robin wants to go to england BAD.:wizard:

what a bonus to see royalty while you're there.(princess Heather:cutie: and the grumpy one Rick)(he's really not so grumpy.:lmao::cool2:)

we got ourselves some vinylmations for christmas too!:thumbsup2
you can get the display cases for them at the container store a lot cheaper.:thumbsup2
have you been on vinylnation.net

Had a great Christmas! I got everyone a Wii this year. I just finished setting it up for the Internet. The kids are looking forward to paying their friends on MarioKart. I got my front yard cleared today. I don't think that I'll be getting my videos up on YouTube until after we get back from London. Laura and I are almost ready. Mike, I'm really glad to see you online. Are you at home now?

So glad to hear you had fun with that at Christmas and about your promotion:thumbsup2

Have a great trip to England!

I did notice a couple of DISnames I recognized!:thumbsup2
Matthew wants our next cruise to be on the Dream. (He's also considering other cruise lines for Alaska - so let us know just how WONDERful it is so I can get him to go Disney for it!)

Us too!
And we've been looking at other lines also for Alaska because they integrate land trips as well, and Bob really wants to canoe, fish, hike and dog sled especially. So we'd be looking for longer tours than what Disney is offering.

Safe journey tomorrow Steve. Lots going on with more security threats over Christmas. Prepare yourself for increased Security checks. You won't have to worry about smoke in pubs and restaurants as they are all no smoking now. People do tend to hoover near doorways though when popping out for a cigarette. Looks like the weather is taking a turn and we are expecting temperatures to drop. Just thought I'd give you the heads up. We're stoked that we will be meeting up with you on New Years Day.:yay:

Yeah, I didn't know agout what happened on Christmas until yesterday. My Mom got worried. Laura wants to be at the BART at noon which will place us in SFO at about 1pm, 4 hours early. I'd prefer to cut it a bit closer but she's excited to get things started.

Thanks for the heads up on the pubs. I was watching Rick Steve's the other day and he mentioned the smoking. I guess it was an older show. I've never been one for legislating behaviors such as smoking but I have to admit, for us non-smokers it is really nice.

I'm still watching Heathrow like a hawk. As of yesterday they weren't having any problems. I see that it'll be rainy a bit for the first few days we're there. Which reminds me that I wanted to buy some waterproofing spray for my coat.

safe travels steve and laura!!:wizard:

hope we'll get to see lots of piccies when you get back!!:thumbsup2

Glad you're back home!

And yes I did!
Sparkly new nail polish, a shiny sparkling CD, and a sparkly necklace:rotfl:

HMMMMM, not what you're expecting I suppose.

:rotfl::laughing:

thats ok. you dont need one. robins got a sparkly ring, and she rarely wears it.

gotta tell you heather.....
robin took her "rating cards" to the hospital with her.
everytime a young dr strolled by, she'd put up the "10" or "9" card up.:sad2:
didnt make me feel very good.:sad1::rolleyes1;);)
